I renewed my driver's license online last week. Haven't received it yet. My other one didn't expire until December, but I wanted to renew before the fee went from $20 to $48. I think it's good for 8 years. Not sure until it arrives.

My old license pic is really bad (I look like a zombie with wild hair) but I wasn't about to go stand in line for renewal just to get a new photo that could be even worse.

Im sure I know you, we were in the group photo!! Got the group photo by the way I cant find mine lol. I tried to look it up without much luck.

Yes we were on that cruise. We were in the pirate night group photo, I'll have to look to see where we were in the picture. We cruised with friends who still don't "get" the whole DIS thing so we did not mingle much that cruise, and I missed it.

We didnt mingle much either we did a few things like the first meeting the first night the fish extenders and the group photo. That was about it other than running into people once in a while. Was hoping to havemore of a social group this time around lol.

dh doesnt get the whole dis boards.
our last cruise was so much fun seeing everyone on board with the special made lanyards and a ton made their own tshirts.
when we did the dolphin excursion, over half were from our dis group. (my camera battery died and one of my fellow cruise members took a bunch of pics for me.)

my kids loved the f/es and they met a few online before we went on the cruise, Gabby and her friend hung out the entire cruise....

I still talk to a bunch of them thru facebook. we want to plan a reunion cruise with the new ships!!

Taswira - Our dining will be late dining and our DD is Abby We wont have our room numbers for quite some time we are hoping for an upgrade We are hoping to meet a few kids off here for our daughter to play with too. Im sure she will make tons of new friends but think it would be cool for her to meet someone from here too.

There seem to be several kids at or near your DD's age among our Cruisin' Nuts. I'm sure she will make friends from here and be hanging out with them on the cruise. At that age, it can be difficult to communicate much before we sail, but maybe as the date approaches that will change.

Does anyone here think I should make a kid's page on our website? If so, I have a few ideas of what could be done with that . . maybe categorizing by age & interests and what they plan to do on the cruise, etc.? I don't want to post individual photos though, for safety reasons. Let me know what you guys think. If you did want me to do that, you would need to ask your kids and PM me their info to be listed. It's just a thought. Not sure if it's a good idea or not.

Thanks again to any of those willing to add me to their dining table in the event that Holly can not get the vacation time. Although I generally prefer late seating, I know I would gratefully accept early dining with people I have met on the boards and/or in person instead of possibly ending up the only "solo" at the family reunion or anniversary table of strangers (which DID happen to me once!) - lol. So thanks for the consideration!

We are late seating! You are welcome to join us. Our kids are a little older and we really liked the late seating last cruise.

I wasn't sure how to go about this, but if everyone with kids will go to the NEWS page of our site, scroll down a bit and you will see the "CRUISIN' NUTS KIDS" paragraph that tells you what I came up with so far. You can "sign-up" (each child individually) to be added to the list. Be sure to include your DIS name as Contact. It may take some time since we are still over a year from sailing, but I'll leave this out there and see what kind of response we get. Those who choose not to use the form may PM me their child's info for the list if desired.

P.S. - tinkluvr12: I may want to take you up on that invitation to join you at late dining. All depends on what happens with Holly's vacation. Thank you to all of you who have offered!

Well, the H1N1 virus struck our house. Two down with it - waiting to see if DH and I get it. So we are all stuck indoors for a few days - as we are suppose to all avoid outside people.

Not the 3 day weekend I was longing for - but I am playing with my WDW ADRs and looking at the cruise trip reports. There seem to be many more for the other destinations (Western Caribbean and Bahamas).

we went to another get together with our neighbors last night.
