we are off to Vegas in the morning. (first time ever going.)

I love international travel. It's the domestic that stresses me.

First time ever in Vegas? Have a WONDERFUL time! I just left there Friday. Today I've been re-packing for my flight back to FL early Tuesday morning, because tomorrow we plan to do other things on my last day here in Idaho. It's going to be a shocker for me, getting back to 85 degree temps.

The weather in Las Vegas was great last week - neither hot nor cold, IMHO. But the day we left there the winds picked up and the weather moved in. This week it's supposed to be back to near-perfect. You are going at an excellent time.

I went to Vegas once it was fun, but I worked for a Casino in CT and well we were there to visit family which I was glad for as the Casino Scene isn't my thing. But I thought it was amazing to watch all of the different people and activities there. I just wish we had the chance to go see one of the Cirque Shows as I have heard amazing things of the ones in LV.

I'll be in the Magic Kingdom. Right now I'm working in Frontierland in one of the kitchens and will be doing so for at least 2 weeks until they find a costume for a very POOH size cast member (me) Seamstress Minnie has to create one especially for me which will take her 2 weeks to make. LOL

I've seen Cirque a few times. Wonderful! I enjoy many of the themed hotels in Vegas. I'm not a gambler. This time we were totally involved with activities for my DH's fighter pilot reunion. However, I did enjoy a Red Flag tour at Nellis AFB, and managed to sit in an old Mig 29 in a hangar and climb on the ladder to the cockpit of an F-22 Raptor on the flightline (Yes - there are pics to prove it - LOL). Also got to visit the Thunderbirds hangar and get the VIP treatment there. Their planes (F-16) were there as they had just returned from an air show.

I got home to Daytona Beach/Port Orange last night. Have been busy all day today but in the morning I'm escaping to Epcot to meet up with a new friend. Looking forward to a fun Disney day!

I also just got myself on a waitlist for the Wonder's PC cruise through DU! That's going to be so cool!

Well, I DO have to deal with I-4 traffic for an hour or so, so although I'm relatively close, it does entail a bit of stress now and then.

That's cool about being waitlisted for the Wonder PC cruise. I hope you will still be sailing with us Cruisin' Nuts as well though. mapmakerj had to cancel this sailing, so she is off our list. It's still over a year and a half away though. I know we'll have many new additions by then.

We're BACK! Hi, all! Had a change of plans and we've decided to come back to this cruise! We are Jodi (35), Keith (35), Katie (5, turns 6 a few weeks later), and Kody (2). All ages at time of sail! We're in stateroom 7505. And we have main dining. Haven't decided about the fish extenders yet.

So excited to be back on this cruise! We had originally booked this one then changed to Oct 2010...was a bit cheaper. But this is the one I really wanted & now that we are no longer vacationing with my sister & her family, I am free to do what I want.

Here's to a wonderful 603 days of getting to know you & planning with you guys! ONLY 603 DAYS!!

We are home from Vegas...wow, my legs hurt from walking! I thought I walked a bunch in Disney. We had a good time, but since I am not much of a gambler, I am not in any hurry to go back.

our flight home got cancelled and we had to reroute thru LAX--yep we back tracked, so I am still soooo off my time and sleep schedule.

we still have to dye eggs tonight.....

I am finally starting to catch up on things since my return home to FL, but new "chores" constantly pop up. On top of that, they are finally getting around to resurfacing our street . . today! It's a mess. I thought they would do one side at a time to allow traffic to come and go, but they seem to be doing the entire street all at once. I'm trapped!
