1130pm arrival, 630am departure - using Magical Express

whats the easiest way to do this? should friends pickup their own luggage at MCO before getting on ME? will there be a bus at 1130pm or should they expect a car? if they dont get their own luggage will it arrive at their room at 2am? or will All Star Movies hold it until 7am? what if they ask at checkin for it to be held will ASM do so? for departure we're thinking ME bus will be picking them up at 330am. What other resorts will the bus be stopping at both ways? any way to tell or will they be waiting for other late/early arrivals/departures?

Yes, there will be a bus that late at night. You can tell them at the checkin desk that you want your bags held until the next day, or just grab them before heading to the DME checkin desk. I don't trust people to not deliver bags that late at night. I just don't want to worry about it, I would rather take the time to get my own bags before boarding...just don't put the yellow tags on the bags.
As for an early departure, yep...they'll pick up about 3:30 am for a 6:30 flight. I would imagine the bus would make stops at the other AllStar resorts...not sure about other resorts on that route.

My daughter stayed at WL last Sept and arrived in their room about 1am. They asked for their bags to be held but guess what. Knock Knock knock. I don't remember exactly what time it was but I think it was about an hour later.

Agreed with above posters - Magical Express states that it can take up to 3 hours after check-in to receive your bags.

We checked into WL last Wednesday night at 11pm. Our bags arrived at our room at 1:30am.

If it's not too cumbersome to handle your own bags, don't put the yellow tags on them and pick them up at MCO yourself. The Magical Express bus will still load them underneath and take them with you to the hotel.

We used ME last Friday night our flight was supposed to arrive at 1115pm but was delayed so we arrived at 1230. We put ME tags on in MHT and carried on stuff to sleep in. We checked into the hotel at 145am and I asked if they would hold the luggage, they said they send a call the room and leave a message(no ringing), if you see your light flashing and you want your luggage you can just call or wait until the am and call then.......
