11 year old boy missing for 10 years. Parents (adoptive) never reported him missing.

How can a child go missing for 11 years and not one person report it?

Why didn’t the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors . . . say something?

he apparently had some issues and ran away frequently. But to never report it???? And they had him since he was 2 1/2 so I can't see how they could be prior issues.....they should throw those parents in jail, asap.

I read that story and couldn't believe it. It's unimaginable. No one cared? If I recall, the only reason the case came to light was because of a tip. The
adoptive parents claimed to feel bad about not reporting the child missing. :sad2: To me, it cast suspicion on the them.

Well I hate to say it but the child is probably long gone. I mean for the parents not to report it spells g-u-i-l-t-y to me. Unfortunately they have had 10 long years to get rid of any DNA evidence and the authorities may never find the poor child. :guilty: :sad2:

Just ask Casey Anthony, her child was missing for a month before her mother reported it. Not 11 years, but doesn't matter.

I couldn't believe it, I would be frantic from day 1  These people need to go to jail, quickly.

School?:confused3 This is precisely what I was thinkin.

That article is written REALLY BAD! Leaves one asking MORE questions than it answers.:headache:

Those parents are SO GUILTY!!!!:sad2:

Did anyone what Law & Order SVU tonight?? About a teenage runaway.  Great Story but sooooooooooooooooooo disturbing.

Wow, if my son is 'missing' for 2 minutes I just about organise a full scale search party.
Very odd story, poor little fellow deserved better.

The news tonight lead me to believe it was his sister that reported him missing. At least that is how it sounded. They also said that relatives were told that the state had taken him back. From what I understand they had adopted him and 2 of his siblings, but it didn't say the sibs ages. I just don't know how they lived with themselves all these years! I mean after a few days they should have figured something was up if he was a child thet runs and then comes hame.
I also heard the police found an answer to a question at the trailer park where the family had lived, but it was not remains. That is all that was said.:sad2:

Why would they lie if they had nothing to hide?!

I think I could at least understand if he was a teenager. I could understand just being fed up with the constant running away and saying forget it, let him run, but he was a little boy. This will be one more case to use against allowing parents to home school without supervision!

They didn't report him missing because they know where his body is/was because they killed him OR they sold him to someone else for god knows what purpose.

Yup, that's my snap judgment and I feel perfectly comfortable in making negative judgments about people (I don't use the word parents deliberately) who don't report a missing child.

While I was watching the Today show this morning my 11 year old son saw this story. I turned to him and told him that if he went missing I would keep searching for him until I found him.
He said he could not understand why a parent would not look for their child.
I agree with him.

I believe your snap judgement is right on target.
