Or as they say "pixie dust" on this board.
Starting to make lists and gather stuff for first trip home to BLT.
Learned yesterday that some school friends will be there same time as us. Also, our pastor's family and a friend from church is going the week we come back. A coworker told me her friend who retired a few years ago will be at BLT the same week as us. Who knows who else we'll just run into? It's funny how you can be miles away from home and run into someone you know.
I had a couple encounters with famous people on past trips to WDW.
In the local airport, close to lift off, I noticed someone making his way to the line as we were getting ready to board. I was reading and planning on being last on board when Geno Auriemma, the UCONN Huskies Women's Basketball coach gets in line right behind me. We exchanged a few words getting on plan and after landing on the tram in the terminal.
I believe it was our first trip or second to WDW when we witnessed our most famous guest. We were waiting for the Lion King to begin. Just before the show began, I noticed some men in jackets and sunglasses. Then, I noticed a woman I recognized but couldn't figure out who it was. That was until I saw her husband, Jimmy Carter. Amy Carter and her husband was also there along with the secret service. They sat in first row just below us. Cool.
Have you ever witnessed famous people at WDW?
