I just returned from a very magical vacation at Disney World. My DBF and I vacationed from May 16-May 26th at Coronado Springs Resort and we ate, ate, and ate some more! We are very strict dieters who usually eat a typical body builders type diet with complex carbs, lots of lean protein, and all natural foods, so we decided while on vacation we were throwing the diet out the window and boy did we eat!

ESPN Club- Boardwalk
We ate at the ESPN Club for lunch on our first day at Disney. We loved that you could walk there from Epcot which was so convenient and it was a nice break from the parks for mid-day. I think we must have been one of the first people at the restaurant for lunch because it was dead when we got there. They do not accept reservations, but if you go early for lunch you will definitely have no problem getting in. We ate in the section of the restaurant away from the bar. It was actually really cool because they were doing a live sports radio broadcast while we were there. My boyfriend is a huge sports fan and loved the restaurant. We started with the Nachos which were actually really good. We were a little hesitant to get Nachos in Disney because the ones we got in Mexico in Epcot were so bad last year, but these were really good. Later on in the trip we got Nachos from Whispering Canyon Cafe and I liked those better, but Brendan liked these better. He liked the chili on them....I'm not so crazy about chili! We both also got the Ceasar Salads minus cheese and dressing and we added red wine vinegar for dressing. The salad was really good. The chicken was cooked just right! The atmosphere definitely makes this restaurant a must to try for sports fans! They even have TVs in the bathroom! It's also a lot of fun to chill at the Boardwalk for a little bit mid day!

We both said Maybe. We liked some other restaurants better, but this is a fun atmosphere. We want to try a lot of new restaurants next year so we'll see!
Rainforest Cafe- Downtown Disney
We ate at the Rainforest Cafe on our first full day at Disney. The atmosphere is so much fun at this restaurant and definitely a good idea to try if you are vacationing with kids. I had the Chicken Ceasar Salad (you will see this trend a lot). I had the salad without cheese or dressing and substituted red wine vinegar for ceasar dressing. The salad was pretty good. My Boyfriend had the Volcanic Cobb Salad. He said it was ok. He ended up not getting the dressing it came with and got red wine vinegar instead and he said it didn't seem to mix well and taste too good with the eggs. We ended off this night with Cirque Du Soleil which I strongly recommend checking out!

Would we return:
We both say probably not. There is a rainforest cafe in our area and the only reason we went in Disney was because I had a gift certificate. It was fun and the food was average, but would probably try something else for dinner in Downtown Disney.
