11 Days of Disney Food!!! Full Reviews of TS and CS Restaurants!

Great detailed reviews! Nice to see something positive about Tony's. I am hesitant to go back there after our own so so experience- you just can't beat the location!
It is such a great location. We liked the lunch menu. There was a lot that we would have ordered from it. Maybe give it another chance and see what you think :)

Great reviews! You've got me thinking about Tony's for our upcoming trip. We haven't been there for a few years, and we really liked it. Looking forward to reading the rest of your reviews!
We really enjoyed Tony's. It was one of our definitely do again restaurants for next year! I would try lunch instead of dinner. The entrees are a bit better priced and I liked the menu better than dinner :) I also saw that you were a DVC member at Saratoga. I'm actually purchasing a membership this afternoon! I was wondering how you like it? Do you think it is definitely worth it cost wise? We did out so many numbers and it just seems too good to be true!!! We are so siked to join though!

Well, let me be the first (I hope!) to say Welcome Home!:welcome:
We love our DVC membership. We joined in July of 2005, and have no regrets whatsoever. We have yet to stay at SSR, but we've visited and it's gorgeous. We'll probably be staying there next spring. We've stayed at BWV, OKW, VWL, and VB and absolutely love them all. Each resort has something that makes it special, and it's fun to try them all! I really think it's worth it. As you can see by my signature, we often stayed at deluxe resorts, and the prices there are getting so high, I really feel we're getting a bargain with DVC. And it's so nice to have the kitchen (or kitchenette). I feel like our trips are more relaxing now, not trying to "do it all", as we know there'll be another trip in the not-too-distant future.

Congratulations!

Thanks so much!! Welcome Homes are in order. We just bought into the DVC about an hour ago!!! I'm so excited, but am trying to find a place to rent out my first set of points (160) because we are not going to be returning before December. Do you know any good places to rent?

Howdy neighbor! (I work in Boston, live in Foxboro.)

Great reviews! I love the detail and the personal touches.

Sounds like hubby and I are really going to enjoy ESPN. I know it doesn't get great reviews, but we are huge sports fans and really want to go for the atmosphere more than anything. And of course, being sports fans, we do enjoy our bar food. (Actually, we're both open to trying just about anything and we like a huge variety of things.)

ESPN was a lot of fun and we liked the food a lot! I hope you have a great time!

Thanks so much for all of your replies! I am back with more reviews!!!

Crystal Palace Breakfast- Magic Kingdom:
We had reservations already planned for dinner at CP, but wanted to try the breakfast to get into the park early! It is always a tease watching everyone go in early for breakfast while we are waiting at the gates! We ended up being able to make a last minute reservation for 8:10 which worked out perfectly! We ate breakfast with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore, and Piglet! We actually liked breakfast better than dinner! We both had the egg white omlets with cheese, peppers, and onions. They were sooooo good! The puffed french toast and the winnie the pooh waffles were also really yummy! They had a great selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, bagels, etc! I really liked the banana bread that they had! The potatoes were also good! There was such a large selection! We are definitely returning to breakfast at CP next year! Brendan went on a mad egg white omlet craving for the rest of the vacation after eating here lol

MOST DEFINITELY!

Beaches N Cream- Beach Club Resort:
After seeing so many delicious ice cream pictures on the dis boards I needed to try beaches and cream! By this time in our vacation Brendan was craving a hamburger and onion rings (he hadn't eaten either in a year!). I ordered the chicken ceasar salad, minus cheese and dressing....and your guessed it with red wine vinegar! Brendan got a hamburger and onion rings and then we split the no way jose. The salad was good, nothing out of this world...I liked Sci Fi's and ESPN Club's better. Brendan said the hamburger and onion rings were good. The No Way Jose sundae was really good, but HUGE!!! We even saw someone get the kitchen sink when we were there! After dinner brendan felt like he wanted to roll over and die! I think the hamburger, onion rings, and sundae strayed a tad too far from his "cheats" that he was allowing on vacation. After this meal he pretty much went back to his normal diet and eating habits lol Beaches and Cream was nice, but nothing over the top.

Would we return?:
Probably not. We tried it fun which was nice, but next year we are taking it easy on cheating with our diets!

Next Up:
Crystal Palace Dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe Lunch, and Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare!

Good to know that CP has a good breakfast. I've had dinner there before, nothing special. I have the same idea as you, getting to the park early to get some good pics, and why not have a good breakfast too!!!

Loving your reviews and congrats on becoming a DVC'er :goodvibes
Thanks so much! I see you are vacationing at Coronado in a few months! That's where we just stayed on our last trip! It is a beautiful resort! I hope you have a great vacation!

Ya we got some amazing pictures of the castle and the breakfast was really good. we thought it was a lot better than 1900 park fare!

I love the CP breakfast! And it is great to get those pictures of an almost empty Main Street!

I've never rented my points (I'm always in borrowing mode!) but you should check out the DVC boards here on the DIS. There's a board for renting points, and the more experienced DVC-ers can help you out. Congratulations!

Excellent reviews, we are going to CP for breakfast in November. Looking forward to the rest.

Excellent Reviews!! We haven't tried CP for Breakfast before and I am thinking that I should try to switch our breakfast at Ohana to a breakfast at CP. Probably to late to get it for this trip, perhaps for our Xmas trip.

Welcome Home!!

We just had our first trip home to SSR this past Dec/Jan and we are "In Love".

Hi
Thanks for your reviews. I really enjoyed reading them. We loved O'hana so much that we cancelled our Spoodes ADR and went to O'hana twice that week. I've never tried Tony's, but after your review, I'd like to try it. :thumbsup2

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's taken me a bit longer to get the next reviews up! I have a few rehearsals with the girls at my dance studio today. They are performing this weekend at the Boston Hatch Shell Stage and I'm trying to get them ready! I promise more tonight :)
