Morning everyone! Well, it is 50 degrees here in White Plains today. We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave. (TV Reference anyone) But, as Lynn said, they are predicting snow for the area tomorrow. According to the weather channel, 2-4 inches of snow for WP.

Kathy: Ironically, I bought him a Kong last night (yes, yet another trip to PetSmart. I'm starting to feel like Lynn and Toys R Us ) He played with it a bit last night so I could supervise, and has it today to keep him occupied. Did you see the cheez whiz like stuff you can get to fill it? Bought some of that too ......

Terri: Um, we'd like some cookies too, ya know. I won't bake cookies because they are my vise, and we just don't need them lying around the house. But we're always happy to accept them

Hi everyone, The boards seem slow today or its my computer. It has been taking me forever to post. Just wnated to say hello. I am getting readay to leave and do some more Christmas shopping.

Hi all,
well I am done baking for the day. i will finish baking the sugar cookeis tomarrow.
I did a new shortbread cookie receipe today and Peter said they melted in your mouth and tasted very good, not too sweet. so if I want them sweeter I can roll the dough balls in sprinkles or make a thin icing for them later. I hope they freeze well, because I am going to freeze all but 6 of them for snacking on.

I mixed up my sugar cookie dough which is refrigerating.
yesterday i made fudge no bake drop cookies and cream wafer cookies which are all in the freezer. I want to make one more kind of cookie then thats it because I am making cream puffs on the morning of the 24th. That is plenty of desserts for 3 people to eat. sorry guys these kind of cookies are fragile so they dont ship well.

we have other snacks too for munching on.



Tonya, I also got taffy, visor for virginia beach, post cards etc... for a gift. Did Kim give 2 gifts?? I did draw her name.

Brantly got our gift, a Disney coaster set and Mickey gold coin chocolates

All this talk of cookies. I think the boys and I will make ours this weekend. I mix up the dough on Saturday so it can refrigerate overnight. Kathy, that's a good idea about rolling them in sprinkles before you cook them. I might try a few that way. But it is a BIG deal around here to ice and decorate the different shapes!

A beautiful day today. About 32 degrees and sunny, blue skies. The road had some ice spots this morning but not as bad as I thought considering the rain we got last night.

Sarah tried covering her lab's cage to keep her quiet and worked until she figured out how to get the blanket inside the cage to chew. She found some toy at PetSmart that guaranteed it for heavy chewers. We'll see.

Maybe I got Shirley's present. Trey told me that I got theirs, so blame him if I'm wrong.

We are expecting S**W on Friday night. I think its a perfect time to start my xmas painting. Doubt I will get it all done, but I can try.
