Well today we went out in the morning and the rest of the day I did stuff around the house wash, changed the sheets and dusted!!! Well I am going to give DS a bath and have some Jell-O. Talk to you tomorrow...

OK so who booked today????? Well I got a email from DU and when I first emailed them back in december, I was very clear, that I booked on board and wanted a quote from them. Received a email today, stating that its too late to transfer anything, and they were unaware that I had already booked. Oh well....not big deal.

I just sent Linda some yummy desset receipes.....I cant wait to get the cookbook and try out everyones receipes......

Hi All!
Ok, I have a question. Is it better to book through DCL or AAA with a TA?
We did the TA thing last time. I read where everyone keeps talking about getting "big deals" and I would love to save a dime or two.
We didn't book yet. Waiting for my dh to return home. May be tomorrow until we officially said we're in!
Just wondering which is the better route to take as far as booking.

Just popped in to say thanks to all last year's WILD Turkeys who sent me recipes for the "cookbook". I'll get it out as quick as I can.

Have 3 pages left to do and my scrapbook is DONE, so will try to get that posted somewhere as well.

Good morning everyone!

It is OFFICIAL! I called DCL this morning and transferred our booking to the 11/29/08 cruise. We will even have "our" cabin from last year! Kathy, are you going to be our neighbor again!

Now, all I have to do is figure out how to pay for it!

we will be booking on our 4/5/07 cruise, so we will see if our old room is free or not?? we always get a verandah , so there is a possibility of getting the same room

Does that mean I have to behave again in 08
That takes some of the fun out of it

glad you saved us from the dreded page 2!!! I warned everybody in my earlier post to watch out for that today. Because yesterday we were on page 2
I may have to get out the "You know what" if people dont start keeping us bumped up better. I think I need a bigger one, nobody is afraid of me anymore . I'll have to check that out.

I think we're on deck 7, but an interior cabin this time. Unfortunately, that was the only way we could hold the cost down.

many of our kids have had the inside rooms, they are very nice.
Just the lack of natural light seems weird at first.
Well worth it if it means getting to go on the cruise, besides you arnt in there all that much.

Ok, now we have 2 for sure on deck 7. I will talk to Greg about trying for our old room or any room on deck 7 too, but wont know until April when we book.
Anybody else for deck 7???

Hi Every one!
So The good news is that we have our 2008 cruise booked. (we got a secret porthole again!!!) We got a great price. Only about 100 more than our western last year. It Really does pay to book early! (and onboard)
The less good news is that our friends cant go the week after Thanksgiving, so we will be cruising on 11/1/08. Which we are very excited about...(since it is a MONTH sooner) but it will be sad not to have familiar faces on board. I don't even think there is a thread started yet for that cruise ....Maybe I will have to start one

For sure keep in touch. I would love to see the photo mosaic when it is done. (sorry I never got a disc to you bob, our computer at home is still broken )
Our office moves are next friday, then my new position will really kick into high gear, which will be great, since all the meetings that we have been having to talk about the new clinic will be done.

Hey, where is the dancing Banana? He was allways on the main page of the smileys.... (have we been cut off??)

Well I guess I should get a hold of DLC and move my cruise to the correct date. I dont think that we will do a deck 7....but then ya never know!!!!
I dont think my sister or neice will be coming on this cruise...they did re-book on board, but they are thinking of just keeping their reservations for april 08. They dont want to take the kids out of school....so it may just be DBW and I......can ya handle us??????

Scrapbook finished today and here are my first attempts at "stitching"

and

I find I'm missing good photos of quite a few people . . . Trey & Tonya, JanDave, even Mutt & Woo. Pat, Cheri, Esther . . . actually MOST of you. Seemed like I took a ton maybe they just didn't come out so well. I'll stitch up some more tomorrow and post them.

The cook book has gone over 40 pages. (Thank you - i'm having to wear a bib as I type, they all sound so good!)
