Jeff & Mina may have cancelled their trip due to a family issue. Can't get into details, but they and the girls are fine.

Hi all. Yes, we did have to cancel our trip. My mother in law is quite ill and we are coping with all that brings. Sorry I've been absent here but I decided to check in today for a distraction. Hope everyone else is having a good 2008.

Good Evening ,
Well it was a crazy night here. I could not sleep because my back and hips have been bothering me alot. And then DS decided to join me and not sleep and finally went to bed at 3am. Well today I am just have been in pain with my back and hips but it is VERY hard to take it easy with a toddler running around. I also got myself into hosting a jewelry party in Feb. for my friend that is starting for business with Premier Jewelry. Well I am going to heat up leftovers because I just don't have the engery to do anything.

Jeff and Mina: My prayer are with you and Mina through this very hard time .

Anybody see the crash at Heathrow airport?
Everyone is ok but it looked aweful. Pilot said he lost power in both engines right at the end and he tried to glide in. 19 minor injuries.

Not much going on here....but some good news...My son and his Girlfriend bought a townhouse. It was the one I went and looked at on Tuesday. I really liked it. It was built in 2001...hardwood floors, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths...(now I can move in ) and its only less than 10 minutes from me.... they are signing all the papers tonite, the bidding war went on last nite....but they are excited.
Now once they get settled, I can start bugging them when the wedding will be Her Mom is already asking that question.... I actually said to my son when he was showing me the place, when we got to the 2nd bedroom, he said, we can use this as a 2nd office....I said this room would make a cute nursery I just got the "look" from him....

Well thats about it for tonite...

I dont think I have ever heard of that happening to a 777 before. They have been really dependable. Good thing they had a good pilot.

Not a bad day here in Georgia. Another chance for some "winter precipitation" tomorrow, but should not be too bad. A little tired this morning. Flight was late coming in, and baggage was slow, so I didn't get home until after 10:00 last night.

Lisa and I will be traveling south tomorrow for a 90th birthday party for my aunt. That should be a hoot!

Well we woke up this morning to NO cable, NO internet, and NO phone. You may be asking yourself "Did they have a storm?"

Nope.

"Did they forget to pay the bill?"

Nope.

"Puppy teething?"

BINGO! Chewed right thru the main cable into the box that controls everything ...
