My daughter just told me about a fun start to her day.
It was 33 degrees outside.
She rides in the bus with the special needs kids. The bus broke down and it took 40 minutes to get another special needs bus to transfer the kids.
Of course these kids dont understand so one of them was screaming the entire time.
They couldnt start the bus so it was super cold which can be dangerous for a couple of them. although they all had coats and hats, only one boy had a lap robe too, so she and the bus driver had to try to huddle them together and give them their jackets too. These kids dont do well if they have to huddle together they want to bite and kick and such because they dont understand.
eventually they got them all transferred to another bus, and warmed up.
She is going to suggest on cold mornings all parents provide lap robe for their kids, just in case.
I am glad I wasnt in her shoes. I dont think I could take 40 minutes of a steady scream

well I am off to relax some,

Well I did not do much today because the back and hips are still hurting. Our dryer stopped heating so DH and his Uncle are going to fix that tomorrow. Tomorrow I want to get to Toys R Us because DS has a birthday to go to but we will see how I feel in the morning. Will DS is crying and wants a bath so I will talk to you later!!

Shell: Good Luck with the Puppy teething!!! I have a cat that chews phone wires. I have been through 4 cordless phones because of her chewing.

Jeff: Have fun on your weekend with Elizabeth.

Bob: Glad to hear you made it home safe!! Thank you for the offer to send DS to you but I would miss him too much !!

Hi Kathy,

That would be tuff being stuck on a bus with screaming kids. I can relate....Holly is teething and has been screaming off and on for the past few days! Tylenol works good, but doesn't last very long.

Well to all of us midwesterners....heres to staying warm this weekend!!

Well not much is going on...just watching "Wild Hogs" again for about the 1,000,000th time in the past month. Wally watches it all friday and saturday nite....and I do mean all nite...I go to bed and get woke up from motorcycles reving up at 2am....I have to tell him to turn it down...so after I am done here, I am heading up to watch something else on tv.

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, we are in the upper 30's with a little bit of rain this morning. BUT, they are predicting anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of snow for us by mid-afternoon today. Of course, if this materializes, that will mean us not being able to go to my aunt's 90th birthday party, which is a real bummer. But, I am looking forward to playing in the snow, if it really happnes!

Shell: Glad to hear that things have improved at the Woo & Mutt household!

Lynn: Feel better. Just remember, the offer is always standing about my little buddy.

Bob, they really must believe the snow is coming because Delta cancelled all its afternoon flights for Atlanta yesterday. we had friends who got cancelled due to your storm, so with re-routing they will loose an entire day at WDW
Let us know what happens.

well we are going to get thunderstorms , possibly severe ones later today and then a cold front is coming in for a few days.

So it is a good day to stay inside, maybe I should finish cleaning out the closets today , Naw, thats too much work

Steve is out chopping firewood, Mini mutt is having a visitation day with the ... I really can't say what I'm thinking, it isn't too nice and I'm suppose to be a nice person - so I'll just say the donor, Bobbi is all depressed so she volunteered to work a funeral, and I'm here watching the food network. You see why I don't post too much! You all lead very exciting lives and I'm stuck thinking...wow, maybe I'll try to cook that!

Good Morning All!

The news for the day is cold. All the way down the country from the midwest to south. We are sitting at 10 degrees but the wind chill is -6! The wind was howling last night!

Three boys are coming over to celebrate Skylar's birthday today. It's too bad Jacob and Hunter don't live closer!

I just got back in from the grocery store picking up a few essentials. The snow is falling in HUGE flakes right now, and it is getting cold enough for it to be sticking. The weather guessers may have actually pegged this one right this time. Predicition is now anywhere from 3 to 6 inches for us. We will see what happens.
