Yep we are in for another snow storm....its snowing now...they are talking another 7 inches......I am sooooooo tired of this already...this morning driving to work was rain and icy rain...stopped at dunkin donuts for my coffee and almsot killed myself walking into the store....icy slush so I parked in front of the door......hey other people do it so why not.
..today was my turn....

well gotta run...was supposed to get my hair cut after work today, think I will cancel and reschedule....

Bob is correct. We are having great weather here. I'm sorry to hear about the bad storms that hit last night. I'm hoping all of the weren't in the path. My sister, who lives in TN, called and said that the storms were awful.

Hello DisFamily!

The snow hasn't moved in yet here in Michigan. We've been having sleet since last night. We are suppose to get up to 8 inches of snow this afternoon/evening. Here's hoping it goes north of us!

Ran a couple errands and picked up Stephanie and Elizabeth when she dropped off her van for repair.

Lynn, Have you gotten the results of your tests back yet?

Kathy, I wish I could be there for your garage sale. I bet you are getting rid of alot of GOOD stuff!

Greg and Janel, Hang in there! A week will seem like a lifetime but in a couple years you'll laugh about it!

Hope everyone else's week is going OK. We have some family that are rallying and some family that need some pixie dust .

Thank you for asking about the results for my test. I have to go on this Friday to take it and get the results Monday or Tuesday. Wish me luck to sit there for 3 LONG hours!!

Greg-Just in case you don't have anything better to do; post some pictures. I've never seen anything like what you guys have. Of course the fact that it's 75 degrees here today probably has something to do with it.

Good idea! I'll see if I can get some pictures taken of our snowy mess and post it here!

Today would be a good day to take some pictures (the sun is finally out for a while) I've got to wait around the house for the insurance adjuster to arrive to assess the damage to our house.

They've determined that we had approx. 2000 gallons of water flood our home. To put that in perspective our 7 person hot tub holds about 400 gallons of water, so it was enough to fill my hot tub 5 times!

Well made it home ok.....slow drive windy and blowing snow...with some icy roads.... I cannot wait for this winter to be over....we have had snow since the first of december and it really hasnt let us since.

Chris and Sheri: I think its a great picture..

Oh I think I will be taking Jack to the vets on friday...this dog..never ending problems with him...he's just lucky that I love him and I'm such a good doggie mom....but he has some rectal bleeding??? His stools look fine, but he keeps bleeding back there?? I just hope its nothing serious...

Yes Bob we are moving back to Oregon. No work in construction around here with the bad housing market, so we are heading back home. Not sure if we will stay there or be in a different state. Where ever God opens the door we will be.
So we bought a nice used motorhome to move cross country in, we did that when we moved to Florida too, it is so much easier that way, especially with 2 large dogs. Plus we own it, so we will have a roof over our heads even if it takes awhile to find work again.

Plus we have plans in 2 to 3 more years to hopefully be a snow birder and be able to work part time. It may be 5 years but we will use the motor home then too. We may use this one as a trade in by then but thats ok too.

Greg will be gutting out the insides next week and remodel it to suit us.
I will post the before and after photos when he is done. Greg use to build Beaver coaches their million dollar motor homes so he knows how to build them as well as houses, so I know it will turn out great.

I just got my copy of PR Week and there is an aerial photo in there of the "American Idol" carved into the field in Nebraska. The photo doesn't have a credit on it (which stinks) but I was wondering if it was Chris' It credits a PR agency - Swanson Russell Associates with the idea about the logo in the field but doesn't say who took the shot. If you want me to send it to you, PM me your snail mail address and I'll send it along.

Hi Guys!
Yes! I was on a binge... a MIL binge. It about killed me. OMG. You don't want to know. Christine would undertstand...

Alex got sick and threw up in the hotel , Chris was really sick the whole weekend , and towards the end Jackson got sick too AND my MIL informs me SHE has had a sinus infection for an entire YEAR... (wouldn't she like be in the hospital or something??? I mean come on...)

Anyway... I'm back from Des Moines. I did read the board a little on my iphone on the way home but it was kind of a pain to post that way... so at least I knew about the board change!

So far with the new "job" I have less computer time! But I'll try to keep caught up.

Kathy, sorry to hear you have to leave Florida... I know a lot of builders here are hurting too. It'll all turn around evenutally I'm sure!

Well... I need to exercise... I've eaten a lot since Saturday... stress eating!
