Hi all, Happy Fat Tuesday.

Went shopping for an entertainment center today for our new TV. We did find 2 that we liked. Right now we have it sitting on a coffee table. We may just try to use that. Just not sure yet:confused3

They just posted a winter storm warning here:eek: They are saying 4-8 inches. Last time they were wrong, so we shall see. Right now it is still above freezing, but cloudy and yucky.

Well off to start dinner. I am making spaghetti tonight.

Evening all:

Greg: OMG sorry for the mess:scared: .....but glad things are getting fixed. When my son was around 3 years old, we had a fish tank in his room...he decided that the pump hose should be outside the tank instead of in:eek: ....luckily I noticed it when the fish tank was only 1/2 empty and the carpet was only half soaked....it was still a nasty mess to clean up though...good luck and hope things move along fast so you can get back to normal.

Kathy good luck on your sale....you are soooo much more motivated than I am....I still have tons of things to do around here, and hardly have started packing up the basement......good luck.....

Everyone else...hello

take care
Denise:banana:

Good Evening    ,
Well DS and I went out in the pouring rain to the Mall and got his sister 2 very cute outfits. Then we went to visit DH at work and DS did not want to leave. He cried the whole way home from DH's work. Got DS his Giants Superbowl Champ Locker Room t-shirt. It is too cute;) ;) that little!!! Well I am going to realx on the sofa with DH and watch American Idol. Talk to you all tomorrow...

Greg: Oh, my gosh what a mess!! I hope things get dry soon in your house and that DW's pictures, scrapbooking stuff and sewing machine was not destroyed!!

Hello,

Dawn
Christine
Kathy
Pat
Shell
Lorna
Denise
Lynn

and anyone else I'm forgetting.

Thanks for your posts and concern.

The floors are still really wet even though they've had huge blowers on them all day long. (Sounds like a jet airplane getting ready for takeoff. I don't know how I'm going to get any sleep tonight?!) They made us sign an agreement saying that we wouldn't shut them off.

The inside of my house looks like a bomb went off! :scared1:

The clean up company (Servpro) that my insurance company sent out said they will have my house looking like nothing ever happened in about a week. (here's hoping!) My insurance company told me not to worry. They said they would take care of everthing, (but our deductible), so I'm resting a little easier now. :thumbsup2

I'm just glad that it wasn't a fire! Water, I can deal with. :thumbsup2

Have a good night,

Greg

morning all,
Greg good to hear it is getting cleaned up ASAP!! I was up and running by 5 a.m. again today. so much to do for pricing stuff. I have boxes and boxes and closets to go through. Thank goodness we are having a second sale in 2 or 3 weeks after this one for the last minute stuff. There is no way I can get it all done by the sale.:confused3 I am too old for this stuff!!:lmao:

Going to pick up the motor home this morning too.
I told Greg, NO remodeling until after we get through this sale this weekend, then he needs to clean up the house for 2 people coming through next week, then he can remodel the motorhome.
Gosh I am tired just thinking about it;)

Well have a great day everyone, I am off to work some more and hope they have Gregs truck fixed today.

later,

kathy

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, it has been a busy week here in Tampa, not to mention the fact that the client has their internet locked down so tight that I can't even look up hotels!:confused3

Hope everyone is having a good week! The weather has been beautiful around here, in the low 80's so far every day! My co-workers and I went to Tarpon Springs last night and had some WONDERFUL Greek food!

Kathy, apparently I have missed something. Are you selling all your houses and moving into the motor home?:confused3

Greg, good luck on the clean-up. I haven't had a chance to read the whole story, but I get the idea.

Yes Bob we are moving back to Oregon. No work in construction around here with the bad housing market, so we are heading back home. Not sure if we will stay there or be in a different state. Where ever God opens the door we will be.
So we bought a nice used motorhome to move cross country in, we did that when we moved to Florida too, it is so much easier that way, especially with 2 large dogs. Plus we own it, so we will have a roof over our heads even if it takes awhile to find work again.

Plus we have plans in 2 to 3 more years to hopefully be a snow birder and be able to work part time. It may be 5 years but we will use the motor home then too. We may use this one as a trade in by then but thats ok too.

Greg will be gutting out the insides next week and remodel it to suit us.
I will post the before and after photos when he is done. Greg use to build Beaver coaches their million dollar motor homes so he knows how to build them as well as houses, so I know it will turn out great.

back to work, just way too much to do,
kathy

Good morning all! Greg...I just read your posts. I am soooo sorry. It sounds like everything is being taken care of though and that's good. We had a similar event happen to us about 12 years ago but with the bathtub. It's just a mess!! Hope everyone has a good day!

Good Morning    ,
We have another day of pouring rain here in NY. Today I have to get some wash:laundy: done and do stuff around the house. That is all that is going on here.. Talk to you all later!!

Kathy: Wow, you are moving back to the snow!! Good Luck to you and Greg!! Aren't you going to miss being so close to the Disney ship??

Greg: Glad to hear that your mess is clearing up!!

Morning all.
Greg, glad your clean up is moving right along. Ask your insurance company if you can claim ear plugs. ;)

Lynn - what size shirt? There is a possibility I may be heading to Ocala today and that is where the toys r us is! Let me know. I know I'll be there for sure on Sat.

Bob is correct. We are having great weather here. I'm sorry to hear about the bad storms that hit last night. I'm hoping all of the  weren't in the path. My sister, who lives in TN, called and said that the storms were awful.
Good luck with your sale Kathy. I emailed you!
Checking in later,
Pat

Good morning everyone!

Well, I took a Valium last night and slept like a baby. The noise from the fans didn't even bother me! :lmao: :lmao:

I did, however, wake up to another 8 inches of new snow! :sad2: :sad2:

They just declared the town 30 miles north of me where my mother lives a "disaster area". The roofs on homes are starting to collapse from the snow. Some homes have 6 feet of snow on them. We got my mothers roof shoveled off this past Saturday, so she'll be ok.

The cities and counties have no place to put the snow. They've started pilling it up in the center of the streets. The mounds are about 10-15 feet high.

The city where I live ran out of money to clear the streets., You need a four wheel drive to get around or wait until someone else blazes a trail for you to follow in!!
The towns snow removal budget is about $400,000 and they said this year they've already spent 1.2 million! They're waiting for emergency money from the State.

Well, I'm off the remove snow from my driveway AGAIN!

Have a good day,

Greg

Greg, I really think you need to move to a warmer, dryer place:rotfl:

Greg, that is just flippin' nuts!

Thank goodness I found you!! WHAT are they thinking???? Disrupting the nanaheads like that.:confused3

Golly, sorry about the Flood - Greg - that's awful! All you can do with the photos is peel them apart whilst wet and let them dry flat seperately. Scarey thought - my scrapbook area is under a bathroom too:scared1:

Kathy -holding warm thoughts for a quick sale!

:wave2: Hello DisFamily!

The snow hasn't moved in yet here in Michigan. We've been having sleet since last night. We are suppose to get up to 8 inches of snow this afternoon/evening. Here's hoping it goes north of us!

Ran a couple errands and picked up Stephanie and Elizabeth when she dropped off her van for repair.

Lynn, Have you gotten the results of your tests back yet?

Kathy, I wish I could be there for your garage sale. I bet you are getting rid of alot of GOOD stuff!

Greg and Janel, Hang in there! A week will seem like a lifetime but in a couple years you'll laugh about it!

Hope everyone else's week is going OK. We have some family that are rallying :yay: and some family that need some pixie dust pixiedust:.

Hey Mel are you out there?
I just got my copy of PR Week and there is an aerial photo in there of the "American Idol" carved into the field in Nebraska. The photo doesn't have a credit on it (which stinks) but I was wondering if it was Chris' It credits a PR agency - Swanson Russell Associates with the idea about the logo in the field but doesn't say who took the shot. If you want me to send it to you, PM me your snail mail address and I'll send it along.
Jeff

Cheri, Billy, Christine & Joey got together in Vegas last night!

GetAttachment.jpg

(OMG, can you believe she wore that awful yellow hoodie? What was she thinking? :rotfl2: )

Shell-You are so bad.

Cheri-How was the turtle pizza? I'm soooooooooo jealous. If only I had friends that wanted to go to vegas:rolleyes1

Greg-Just in case you don't have anything better to do; post some pictures. I've never seen anything like what you guys have. Of course the fact that it's 75 degrees here today probably has something to do with it.

Kathy-I'm glad Bob asked the question because somewhere in reading about the garage sale; I missed that you were moving. I think it's the blonde hair. Bob, what's your excuse.

Mel-Where are you???? Being kept prisoner? Did Chris lock down your internet?

Ladies-Why haven't I been getting any e-mails/phone calls? Are you guys IMing? I'm lonely:sad1:

Speaking of being alone.......Joe went to Myrtle Beach for a golf trip this morning and won't be back until Sunday :woohoo:
