I just called DCL and upgraded our cabin. We are now in a Cat 6 Veranda Stateroom.

Congratulations! That's a very convenient location because it's close to the mid-ship elevators.

I actually read on another thread about someone who was waiting for their room and they found out the ship was overbooked so they didn't get a cabin at all. I guess they had to go a few months later.

They're selling cat 12 guarantees again so it looks like they're still trying to fill our ship.

I should check prices for a cat 6 for DH's parents. They didn't book with us and now I think they're wishing they had.

I wonder what prices are?? Should I check with DCL or a TA?

I know they have gone up since we booked on the cruise last year - but this is still one of the most affordable weeks to sail DCL. If you go to the DCL site, you can go through the process as if you are going to book and see prices in all categories.

I just called and talked to a nice man. I said I was interested if they had anything on their end yet. I commented on how my parents have a room and we were linked and we had nothing. He said any time now till 3 weeks out. He couldent tell me more.

I also brough up the problem with our Travel Agent messing up and moving one of the boys to my parents room. Im sure we wont be any where near them and Im sure not even on the same floor at this point. He said the queen bed would be plenty of room for me, Rick and one of the boys. WHAT THE H***. no way.

I was hoping that bringing up the need for the room for 4 might be able to push something along. No nothing. He also said they were not selling rooms for 4 anymore.

At this point I will take a life boat. I just need to be on the ship. Mom is laughing that since we bought the tickets for her and if they messed up and had no room for us that she would still go with out us.

I know it could be any day but for us first timers it so exciting.

I'm at swim team practice with Lizzie. I could probably start working out again but I was just too lazy today. Target date for a return to the gym in a feeble attempt to get back some of what I lost over the past 2 months is Monday.

I was reviewing future vacation plans today and there is so much disney, it's a little scary. I wonder which of these we will keep and which will have to be changed or canceled.

Nov. 27-28 - Beach Club Concierge
Nov 29 - Nanahead Cruise
Dec. 28 - Week at Beach Club Villas
Easter 2009 - Week at Saratoga Springs
June 2009 - Port Orleans Riverside with DD10 dance performance group, then a few days at Animal Kingdom Villas
August 09 - DCL Eastern with Tortola - and if we go, we'll have to tack on some WDW days.
Nov. 09 - Nanahead Cruise (this one may have to be changed or canceled)
Aug. 2010 - Med 11 night cruise

I really really really have a problem.
