good morning,

I thought i had the home shopping club when I started reading today:lmao:

Who has plans for the weekend?

No plans here. Just trying to adjust to the cold and rain here:sad2:

Marie,
when we had to wait for our room number on a previous cruise it didnt appear until about 3 weeks before the cruise, so be patient. It will soon appear. we also got an upgrade, so maybe that will happen for you and be worth the wait:goodvibes

Shell: what magnet paper did you and Bill use for your Daily Peel?? Its a great weight. I don't like what we used last year...was looking on amazon and they have a great price on avery brand but IDK :confused3

Since Bill works for a sign company, we get commercial grade magnets that you wouldn't be able to find in stores.

I added up bananas this morning.
we have more than the last thread now, but are about 12,000 less than our first thread.
so if we're going to do more this time, you guys need to get with it:thumbsup2

It wont be long and we will be done with this thread too.

Here is my contribution for the morning.

Hi ... I wanted to comment about Christmas stuff. For those that haven't vacationed this time of year, here is my experience.

In 2006, I made fun of all the ladies on here that were putting up Christmas decorations, buying and wrapping presents, etc. in October and early November (I'm sure some of you remember that! I believe my main "target" was Jan ;) ). That was the year I learned my lesson. We got back from home on December 2 and it was a mad rush to get everything done ... putting up the tree was just a loathsome chore, there was no fun in buying and wrapping gifts (and I HATE to wrap gifts to begin with), no holiday spirit because everything was rushed and I was just uh ... grumpy for lack of a more DIS-friendly word (ask Mutt :scared: )

So last year, I had the tree decorated and ready to display when we got home, plus had all the decorations up before we left and many gifts done. It was so much more stress-free and the holiday spirit came back (the Mutt was thankful for that :rolleyes1 )

This year, don't forget that we have a grand total of 15 DAYS between getting off the ship and Christmas! I'll probably do the tree and decorations the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Lesson learned!

Amen to that Shell. Last year we waited again to put up the tree and regretted it BIG TIME. THis year we will be the Christmassiest (how's that for a new word?) house in the city in mid November! Must start thinking about gifts NOW.

Do they play the movies on the cabin tv's that they play in the theater?

Hi Okie!

Avery works well. THat's what we have used.

Hi J-Fed :wave2:! Any news on the dinner front?

OK going to jump in the shower now...This computer addiction isn't good LOL

And to think I yell at my kids for always being on their computers.:lmao:

I'm with you. I am very confused about the whole coke meaning soda thing.

I guess I shouldn't have mentioned this... B/c I really can't explain it either. When we go grocery shopping, we put Coke on the list....even if it's Dr.Pepper we are actually shopping for...I guess it's a habit from when we used to be Coca-Cola drinkers, and now we mostly drink Dr. Pepper and Root beer. Sorry of all of the confusion!!;) :goodvibes

I'm confused  ....do you say "I'll have a medium coke please Dr. Pepper"...instead of "I'll have a medium soda please Dr. Pepper" like I'm used too???.....like you are asking for 2 brands of soda in the same sentance:confused3 :lmao: :confused3

I guess it's pretty confusing..No, we just say we would like a Dr. Pepper when ordering a places. It's more of a habit when we shop.

they have one station that plays all animated disney movies, the other plays a variety of family movies. Nothing current in theaters on the TV.

In the movie theater they have first run movies and a few recent ones.
They try to have something for the kids, teens and adults in their movie line up.
If there is a big disney premiere movie they will play it in the large Walt Disney theater once or twice and also in the movie theater, which keeps the crowds down a bit.

I dont remember where I found my nanas at. But I downloaded them to photobucket to post them here.

just google free banana icons and see what pops up.
some sights charge, thats why I put the free there.

Maybe somone here can give you a specific site? I hope.

No, the first run movies are only in the theater. They do have movie channels in the rooms but they are older movies and disney cartoons.
