Just checking in on one of the saddest days of my life.....MY BABY IS MOVING OUT TODAY moving Joshua to his apartment...I'm a wreck...but if it is possible...I think Rick is worse!

Wish me luck that I make it though and don't cry infront of his new roommate and make Joshua ashamed!!!

Well Okie, I think when your first leaves the nest, it is the hardest. I do wish you luck that you wont cry, but I cant blame you if you do.
When my daughter left I was a wreck for a couple of weeks. Altho, she went into the army and basic training...I kept thinking if she was leaving for college I wouldnt feel so bad.... but I think I would have had a melt down either way.
It does get easier as they come and go....but you never stop missing them.

Personally when our oldest left we helped her pack her bags
2nd one I felt bad when he left
3rd one,
again we helped her pack as fast as we could
Last one, help him out but he bounced back, helped him out again, NO bouncing back this time.


Shell do you get the idea here? Girls we help get out as fast as we can, boys not so fast. Why? Teenage girls are a pain in the butt!! Does that ring a bell for you

keep trying, I'm sure you'll come up with some great jokes.
start with thinking about outhouses, that will help get you going.

Did you buy anything at the tupperware party? They have some great stuff.


Do you have a good recipe for hand slung chitlins? Or cracklins?

My MIL loves to make cracklins from her moms receipe. She would love a good receipe for some chitlins though, she lost her moms receipe.

She likes them with scrambled cow brains and a nip of some good ole corn squeezins. That came from grandpa, and he didnt share his mash receipe, dang it.

Most of the ladies here love to take an occassional nip on the ship, do you have a good mash receipe they could try .
They will let you bring a bit of booze on board, maybe you could bring a jug or two and pull a cork with us at the ladies only meet.
