I found a website that does reviews on Vegas Spas and it looks like Ambiance rates pretty high maybe we'll do that one? I'm stilling looking at the spas on the strip.

We probably won't rent a car so we'll have to "taxi" if we go very far from the Grand Chateau.

Only have about two more weeks till we fly out.....guess I'd better get all these loose ends figured out huh?

OK another thing to keep in mind. Taxis are very easy to find on the strip but near impossible to get anywhere else especially locally. I am in a hugh office building by Fremont Street and we can't even get them here. If you go to the spa in Henderson it will cost you about $25 one way and it would be very hard to get a taxi back (unless you ask the guy who drops you off to come back and even than you are taking a chance). We don't even use taxis to take us the to airport because most of the time they don't show up.

Bob, our weather is changing this week

It will be around 80 the next 2 days and then in the upper 90's for the next 4 days at least. and
Too big a change all at once to adjust to the heat that fast
Besides I need something to complain about

Greg ... I'll tell you this. I had the absolute BEST massage EVER at the Luxor (granted, it was the only thing good at the Luxor ...). My masseuse was named "Pooh" (that's what she went by) and man, she did me over good! OK, now no Pooh comments please ...

That is absolutely, 100% true. We almost got left at Arizona Charlie's one night waiting for a cab ... any cab ... including the one we called for ... to show up.

Took the pups for a good romp in the field, then for a good long walk.
Now they are sleeping so I can relax and have some lunch.
I did wrap up $14.50 in coins this morning. Mostly pennies.

It is nice and warm out but we also have a strong wind that make sit feel a bit cooler. I finally bought one pair of shorts since mine are all stored, just in time too. we are headed for a few days of 90 degree weather

Afternoon all:


Well what a day.....it started yesterday actually when I got back into Chicago.

My sister/brother-in-law were picking me up from the airport....so I'm waiting at arrivals a good 15 minutes....then I see them drive right past me.... ..ok so they come back around and this time they pull over....my car is parked at my dads....they drop me off there....now this is about 11:15pm...get my car and head to the express way...stuck by a long train....get on the expressway now about 11:35pm drive just about 3 miles....traffic is at a dead stop.... ...this goes on for about 10 miles....it took me 45 minutes to crawl that 10 miles.....they are doing construction and have 2 lanes blocked off. ok so I get in around 1am.....bed after 2am....

Jack gets me up at 7am....not to go out.....just because!!!!

then the site was acting up and I couldnt get on...???? anyone else having problems?

Anyway....did laundry and some shopping....getting dinner ready.....
