Day 6 - Day at Sea

We finally ate breakfast at Lumiers...it was so much better than the buffet but it took a lot more time.

Next we went to see Stageworks. We were hoping to get back stage but all you do it sit in the theater and they have techs explain what goes on. It was pretty interesting.

I love this dress

This was the day that it was way to cold to lay by the pool but we tried. The high was 69.

However my friend's son had no problem hanging out in the hot tub (he's the blond in the middle):

We just hung out around the ship and even played a little golf:

Day 7 - Day at Sea (Foggy Day)

We really didn't have much planned for today. We have breakfast at Topsiders (gosh they really do have the worst eggs). Than we did some Origami Flowers, that was supposed to be adults but they let screaming kids participate so we didn't stay too long. Even though it was really foggy out it was warming than the day before so we spent some time at the pool.

The sun did try to burn through the fog:

People seemed to be freaked out by the fog but I loved it...it was so cool to not be able to see the water and even 5 ft in front of you.

Finally on the last night I got a Mickey Bar:

It was weird, we usually get lots of room service but since our room was so small and there was no balcony we only got it once on the last day.

Day 8 - Disembarkation:worried:

Unlike Port Canaveral you can't just get off the ship when you wanted. You had to go to breakfast to get you disembarkation sticker. We the lastest seating so we didn't go to breakfast until 8:45. So I was able to walk around the ship and get a few more pictures:

They has told us if we really wanted to get off the ship earlier than our scheduled time we could but that our luggage wouldn't be there and that was true. We were some of the last people off the ship and they were still putting luggage out. Also the porters can't bring your luggage to your car they only bring it to the curb so we just got our own.

What the heck?! No Ode to Nana Heads on your door signs????

Christine-
I notice you said it was colder the last day. That's one things that I've heard about west coast cruising (especially in winter) was it just the one day?

Yeah, just the next to last day was very windy and cold. It only hit 69 and on the last day it was very foggy and I thought it would be cold too but it wasn't too bad. I can't imagine how cold it would be in winter. We also thought it would be cold at the port but it was warm.

Loving the pictures. Did you have a category 11?

We sailed the first time in an inside cabin in April and we loved it, so much more roomier than a balcony or oceanview because of where they have the bed.

Nope a Cat 12 (yes they do exist). At first it was very tight and we didn't think we would like it but we got used to it really fast. Fortunately it was just the two of us, I don't know how you would fit more:confused3

Afternoon All:

Yes we finally made it back from Houston and then turned around and went to Branson on Sunday. Just what we wanted more time in the car. :car: All is well in Springfield, we are adjusting to having another child in the house. Darn they are sneaky. Cassidy's b-day is Friday so we are attempting to get a party around.

Christine, great pictures. Makes me want to cruise. :hyper: We stayed in a Cat 11 or 12 for the cruise in Nov of 07, 3 people, it was doable. Its not like we were ever in our cabin, we were always in Woos.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

ttyl.
