Greg if you are going to the Caribbean Day Spa on Rainbow I would be a little weary. It's a very commercial area and you might wind up with a happy ending The safest spa are the ones in the casinos. I know they are more money but at least you know you will get a reputable place. The Luxor spa is great and so is the Mandalay Bay. If you are looking from something a little less expensive try Excalibur (I know they just redid their spa). Another really nice spa is at the Green Valley Ranch Hotel. I have been there many times and love it. It's way off the strip but well worth the visit.

I've been trying to find a day spa that does the "couples package", but I'm finding that I may end up with more then I bargained for with some of these places!!

Who knew it would be so difficult to get a "christian" massage in Vegas?!

Hi Dawn - I think if things slow down it'll be not such a good thing. Gotta keep working to pay for all these vacations!

I may be taking the majority of today off because I'm just burned out. I still have a lot to do on the big project but I really knocked out the 28 page brochure in a weekend, so how tough could it be to get two 12-pagers done?

We're counting down to our long weekend at the beach next week for my birthday (I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy, you know...born on the 4th of July)

Swim team went well last night. After two hours of annoying parents making demands, not following rules and just being a PIA during photo sessions, Elizabeth swam well. She had 3 freestyle events and came close to her best time in 2 of them. Her relay team won one of the events!

Today, after I do a bit of work, I pick her up at Vacation Bible School, then off to swim team practice, then back her for work for me and some chill out time for Lizzie. Then, Emily has dance at 4 and cheerleading at 6. Elizabeth has dance at 5. Swim team only has a couple more weeks so when that is done we'll feel like we don' t have anything to do!

Alright off to see what kind of trouble I can get into.

Believe it or not Vegas has very strict rules with Spas (that's why it might be hard to find a couples massage) the ones who don't follow the rules are the ones to watch out for. When I worked on the strip only women could give women a massage and men with men. I know the rules have changed in Henderson but there still isn't any couples massages allowed.

Nope haven't heard of it but it's right around the block from my house. It does look nice just keep in mind it will be a spa in a strip mall. Don't mean to keep sounding negative just want you to know what you are getting. Hey, if you go here after your spa treatment you could come have pizza

I'll probably take the kids over and let them ride the Alpine slide and coaster.

We road it last year and was really fun. They built a roller coaster down the side of the mountain.....my kids really like it!!
