OMG! Listen to this ... I just got off the phone with Mike. Apparently, on the flight from London to Venice the airline lost Wendy's sister's luggage, and as of them leaving port, it still hadn't been found! He said she was so distraught that she threatened to just fly home! But they ended up buying her some shirts, pants and a dress. Can you imagine that for a 15-night cruise???????

Evening all!!

Well we made it to the parade to see DD Nicole dance on the float, but we didn't make it to the air show.

Was probably a good thing. We heard on the news that the traffic was so bad nobody could get in to the airport after about 11am anyway?!

We only live 10 miles from the airport so we got to see most of the airplanes fly over our house anyway!

We're headed out to a local restaurant to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday!

So I got an explanation from the moderator who gave me my warning about talking about Dawn's Fish Extenders. It was a little hostile even though I asked a simple question asking why some folks are able to post links and email addresses while others aren't. I really didn't know the answer.

Here is the answer I got:

Hope everyone had a great day! Except Wendy's sister That would be just awful! I've read for people who fly to put clothes for everyone in all the bags...the chances of them losing all the luggage is only 95 percent !

The boys and Elizabeth swam in the pool this afternoon! It's not full yet but should be able to start up the pump tomorrow! Elizabeth actually could stand in the shallow end.

Thinking about you Christine in the West. Wendy in the East. I wish I was on either one!

Have a great Father's Day tomorrow for all the dads: biological, fostering, or furry!

That is to bad about Wendy's sister's luggage!

On the other hand I wish the airlines would loose mine!! I keep hoping, but it always finds me.

We always carry travel insurance and I keep thinking one day they'll loose it and I'll get a new wardrobe and new luggage, but alas.....it hasn't happened yet!!


Jeff, ya we get traffic and traffic jams here in Idaho.....infact we had a 15 horse pile up the other day! (the smell was terrible!)

I think I would die. I read a report on another board and the same thing happened. They found one piece but I think she was already 5 days into her cruise. Her second piece was never found

Howdy everyone,

we had a good day at the beach, it was sunny but very cold with the strong wind blowing. Greg took some great photos I will download tomorrow and share with everyone.

Greg, sorry you didnt make it to the air show.
The last one I went to was many years ago in Bend Oregon. It was awesome until a plane came straight down and never pulled out and smashed straight into the ground right in front of where we were sitting on the grass.
I was so shook up I grabbed the kids and got away as fast as I could. We read the next day the man had a heart attack and his wife and daughter were there and saw it too. I have never been able to make myself go to another air show since then.

I guess at least he was doing what he loved when he went.
