I posted this on the 09 board and I'll cover my bases here.

Hey Nanafolks! Since everyone is making plans to vacation in 09 and 2010--I'm gonna put this out for anyone who'd like to hang with me and the Woo.
I believe that we're doing an RCCL on Nov. 15, 09. Its a 7 nighter and sails from Puerto Rico (which is like an extra port of call for me)-- St. Thomas, Dominica, Curacao and Aruba. I love Disney and all you nutty nanas but we wanna try new places and see new things. I've always wanted to go to Dominica (they filmed a lot of Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2 there) and I believe this is the chance to do it.

Gimme a write if you want more info but we'd really love some nanas to join us in the adventure (which also happens to be the ship that we're sailing).

Joanna, I'm still working on the Oasis in 2010---I think we'd like to join in and travel with you folks.

da Mutt

Hi Mutt-
Sounds like a great cruise.  We won't be cruising again untl 2010. I am hoping to go RRCL also. I think by then the Freedom of the Seas will be going out of Port Canaveral. Hopefully we can do an Eastern. I am hoping to go Thanksgiving week.

I posted these on the '09 but figured I'd share with you guys too...this is what it looking like on Wednesday night at my house:

Morning Nanas!

Just popping in for a quick hello. Going to be a busy day in Portland. Trying to work so that I don't have to work tomorrow, just travel back home. Travel from Portland to Atlanta is a day of work in itself!:headache:

Hope everyone is having a great week and getting ready for Christmas. And, BTW, I have YET to buy a single Christmas gift!:scared1: Going to be a VERY busy weekend.

Dh has not shopped yet either. It is going to be crazy at the Malls this weekend. Good luck!!! I am all done with my shopping. Now it is on to getting everything wrapped.

Hi Christine:)
That is so weird to see snow on palm trees:confused3 Is it all melted yet?

I will post some pictures tomorrow. I want to get some pictures of the kids playing in the snow today. Thanks for sharing you snow:upsidedow

I don't do malls. Most of my shopping will be Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, etc., which will most likely actually be WORSE than the malls!:headache:

But, the funny thing is, Lisa and I both always save at least one item for Christmas Eve. It is typically a small item for stocking stuffers or something, but it is just fun to go out and watch everyone else scramble like crazy!;)

Morning folks!

Sitting here at my desk in Portland watching the snow fall outside my window. I already know that my flight is going to be delayed at least 30 minutes, so we will see when I am able to get out of here!

Have a great weekend everyone!:thumbsup2

Bob,
its snowing like crazy where I am about 250 miles south of you.
4 inches on the ground which came over night.

Greg hasnt shopped yet either. He is suppose to spend the night in town tonight due to the bad weather and shop then.

I of course have been done for along time, good thing too because I cant drive in the bad weather.
But I love to go out near Christmas and look for small extra items for people, just silly little things are great, but wont get to do it this year.

Have a safe flight, you've got snow an ice everywhere.
Dont know where your lay over is but Dallas Fot Worth was a mess due to snow and foggy conditions this morning and last night. Many were sleeping on the floor of the airport last night hoping to get out today.

Kathy

Things are cold, white, icy!!!

The pups love it, I like it when the roads are clear because i love the snow.

But not this cold temperatures. 20 and below are not my kind of weather:lmao:

But we are great other than that.

hows being a new dad treating you?

mom

It is snowing like crazy here on Long Island. Depends on who you listen to, between 1 inch to 8 inches but there is one inch already so that forecaster is WRONG.

I'll be back in a bit...See you later.

Joanna,
our forecast changes 2 or 3 times a day for our weather. So I just wait until I look out and see what is really happening.
we were told no more snow, then it snowed, so they said maybe an inch and we have about 4 inches and it is still coming down on and off.

Yesterday they said all rain from Monday through thursday, now that has changed again with one snow day in there which probably means they are covering their bases because they dont have a clue:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

stay warm & safe!!

Old news Christine...That is why we had to get off the ship on deck 1

Okay, I don't even know why I'm bothering because everytime I invite someone to Virginia it means a week's worth of therapy sessions to deal with the rejection. BUT since I'm still on a cruise high and I think maybe I have friends I'll try again.

First of all, if you want snow in Virginia you have to head to the mountains. Yes, sometimes it's manufactured. Of course, on the way there you would pick up BFF-VA where she would then take you through the beauty of Virginia Beach, to Williamsburg where you can enjoy hot cider along cobblestone streets, up the Blueridge Parkway where you can watch me puke out the car window because I'm scare of heights stopping along the way to visit wineries, antique stores and all the friggin' Mayberry you can handle. We can go skiing, tubing or simply park our a**es in the lodge and drink coffee with Bailey's (suck it, suck it). So, there's an option. Just let me know when to schedule my therapy:sad2:

Kim,
I'm sure we would have a lovely time in VA! All of your excursion ideas sound wonderful! Would you carry a sign and make us little stickers and tags like we had for Trey's Key West tour? Those were COOL!!

Thanks for thinking of us and the great ideas. Now we just have to find some time off!! If we go to Gatlinburg, that will probably be all Steve has for leave until Oct or Nov.
