It would be great to introduce daughters. It may make the introduction to the Kids Lab a little easier. My 8 year old can sometimes be shy when thrown into new situations. On our prior trips she did the camp with her sister, so the lab will be new to her. She is excited to be old enough to go to Lab. I think the activities will excite her more. We are flying into Orlando on Thurs and spending 2 days at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. We plan on arriving at Disney Terminal around 10:30 on Sat. - Jackie

OK. I have another question. Does anyone know anything about the character breakfast? How does this work? Is it something we make reservations for? Is it every morning? We want to do this but know nothing about it because they did not offer it on the 4 day.

It will depend on your dining rotation, but you will recieve tickets for the breakfast, so you don't have to worry about missing it.

I am pretty sure it is one of the morning's at sea and you will dine at your normal table, and have your evening servers.

Can't wait to go! It's almost here!

Since you are all coming to visit Florida, a weather update from the Space Coast - so far November has been about 6 degrees above norm - we are running mid 80s with more than normal clouds for this time of year. DisDorkBob's weather prediction for November 29 at Port Canaveral ----- Clear Skies, lots of sunshine, and a high of 79 degrees!!!!!

it has been hot down here the past few days... I hope it cools down before Super Soap Weekend... But then warms back up when we all go on our cruise!!

Does anyone know if Diversions the new club has board games? I thought I read somewhere that it did. I thought it would be a cool sea day activity. I am already bringing my dominos and my travel yatzee to play.

Hey, DisDorkBob, I love your weather prediction! We've been experiencing higher than normal temps here, too - 84 today! When we first booked this cruise in Nov/Dec, we were looking forward to being able to get away from the cold temps. But its been warmer than usual the past several days so there's been no cold weather to get away from (so far). But, I'm not complaining.

Just got back in from what is probably my last golf cart ride around the neighborhood for the year.........72 degrees and rainy here on the south side of chicago. As a matter of fact I got caught in the rain on my way back from a "neighborhood drinking convention". (I need to put a heater in that cart) LOL bfftisu....you understand!!!!! I'm just trying to build some tollerence for the disdork convention. Amanda..........sounds like your DH is ready!?!?!!?!? anyone else????

Hey Crazy Momma--we went through DU also and.............we just got our docs from the UPS man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Anyway- still same room--2611--but it's a couple doors down from my sister Vikki's room (and Scott-her bf). Even though I would've loved an outside room--my husband seems to think the darkness of the inside room will at least keep our daughter from waking at 6 am (like she's been doing this past week w/ the whole daylight savings time thing!). I don't care what room--just get me on the ship!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, Ron, my dh is definitely practicing raising his tolerance level..................you'll know him by his ever present goofy beer induced grin!! (he loves cruises because he can even indulge in a girlie drink--pina colada or daiquiri--w/out being laughed at!).

Hey Amanda,

When I receive our docs you will probably feel the earth move down in Melbourne. I agree with Ron regarding a dark room. When Matthew was a baby he would wake up as soon as the sun was up. When you are on vaction who wants to get up at 6am. NOT!!! Tell Ron, Gary and I will have a girlie drink with him. I promise I will not laugh. Maybe just a giggle.
