My DH and I were talking of moving our cruise from the Dec 5 Eastern to this one, phew talk about a wild ride to find the right thread! lol Anyway, looks like we will be jumping onboard with you all this week sometime! Our second cruise ( just went Dec 13-20, 2008 Western). Me Lucinda 41, DH Casey 48, DD Katie will be 5, DD Carrie will be 3! Hope yall are accepting new people into your group!

Had a good day with my mom. She was having a good day and I showed her the cruise photos from the 08 cruise. She only fell asleep 3 times during the photos.
I guess that says how exciting our cruise was
She did pick Holly out of several photos and kept saying what a cutie she was!!

Down to 29 tonight.

Well I am jumping ship as it were. DH and I talked at lenght about the cruise we booked, and this one and the WB TA that I want to do, and with the economy and all...well.... he told me if I really want to do the TA, I should transfer to that and we can add on another if finances allow. So, thanks for the warm welcome but we wont be cruising with yall afterall! Have a great cruise!

Kathy.....I'm going to have to insist that you keep all this yucky weather over your way. I woke up to -18 this morning.

I ran out to get my newspaper and about froze to death before I could get back in the house!!

I found the chat threads for the two cruises we have booked, but not very many people chatting on them right now.....kinda depresssing.

Looks like we're going to have a Mini Nanahead meet at Mt. Rushmore for the 4th of July fireworks (they actually happen on the 3rd of July).....any other Nana's want to come?

We may also fly back to Orlando in August to watch a shuttle launch. Hopefully it will launch on schedule so we won't of travel all that way for nothing!

Steve or Liserae....you guys still around? Any suggesting on a good location to get for the launch?

Freezing rain but warm here last couple of days--high 20s to 30s. Your cold is suppose to be coming our way Greg tonight! Just for the restart of school.

Welcome to our new family! Yes, please do tell us your name. I'm Dawn and I travel with my two grandsons Skylar and Christian. We too are not "booked" on the 09 cruise but I never give up hope! I did put in a tentative booking last cruise so I do have the OBC! The money tree in the backyard might produce this year! Like Greg said we have reservations at Mt. Rushmore for July and I plan to make reservations at WDW for late August. Greg, when's the shuttle due to launch?

Last day before back to the real world We have been l-a-z-y. I think we have only left the house like 4 times in the last couple of weeks!

I'll check back in later. Oh, and welcome back home Jeff, Mina, Elizabeth and Emily. Happy belated Birthday Emily!

Actually it was really funny because it was just a couple minutes after I posted welcome to her, she posted that she changed her mind.
Then about 5 minutes later I went to our 2010 cruise thread and guess who just posted there that she was coming along.
Yep, I am still cruising with her and her girls

So she didnt get rid of me after all.

Hi Greg, you'll love Mt. Rushmore. We were there a few years ago and I was also there as a Kid. If you get the time, stop by the Chief crazy horse monument, its really close to Rushmore. It is the indians version of Rushmore and has been under construction for years and years because they wont take any governemnt help with it. So donations and money from seeing their museum and the mountain are what they use. That is why it is taking so long to build.

They have a great indian museum there.
For me it was fun because I saw it as a young teen, then as a adult with my 2 kids and hopefully someday I will see it again to see the progress they have made. I hope it is finished in my lifetime.

Hey the latest we will be back to Florida will be May, so be sure and let me know when you'll be at WDW so we can try to drop by and say hello.If Greg is nice I may even try to say hello to him after the launch.

Last night as we pulled intot he park here it was just getting dark and i looked by the pond and saw a HUGE nutria or at least I thibk thats what he was. I know he wasnt a beaver, no flat tail but it was a long tail. It was dark so I didnt get a great look but I did see enough to know I wouldnt want him chasing me!!!
