Howdy Nana 9er's!!

Yep, I know a good bet when I see one! :woohoo:

Chuck, great job on getting top page twice in a row! :cool1: (gotta keep those women on their toes....especially Kathy & Dawn.....they're both trouble makers!!) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

"Horton Hears a Who" is playing in our room today, so I think I'll kick back with the kids and watch it!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Nanas!

:thumbsup2 Good job Melanie on the top of the page...keeping Chuck off :rotfl: !

Renee, On our November 2007 cruise we had BIG waves too and lots of wind. Kathy, do you remember what size they were? Nothing was cancelled but lots of time people had trouble standing up!

Hey, Josh, glad to see you on this thread. Gee, if it wasn't for college you could go with us! You'll have plenty of time for that after...right?

Again, lots to do today. Check back in later.

I sure remember Dawn!! Those first few days were pretty rocky!

I was glad we were on the 1st floor (more stable so less likely for anyone to get sea sick), which is why I'm a little nervous this time we'll be in a secret porthole cabin. Afraid the location isn't good if we have those type of seas again!!

Hey Dawn, sadly, due to college, I'll be off the week before the ship leaves port... :faint:
I should be able to sail again after college... in 6-8 years... but I can always go some other week

- Josh
P.S. Those waves were big, made walking a little difficult, especially up high in the stack! November of 2006 was bad too, very rocky.
Anyone gonna miss St. Martin and St. Thomas?

morning all,

Dawn, I do remember the waves, i think they were only 12 to 15 feet. They did rock the ship a bit but I enjoyed it . i have been on a lot worse.
One March it was 30 foot waves and 65 MPH crosswinds so they close dthe upper decks and we were the only people in the club to watch the band, but they did play for us. They teased us about giving us a private concert just for us:thumbsup2
Fortunately we have never been sea sick:goodvibes I feel badly for those who do but I love the rough waves and we always walk all around the hsip just for the fun of staggering all over the place.

One cruise we were watching master and Commander in the theater when we had rough seas. If you have ever seen that movie you will understand when I say we really felt like we were there on the ship with them.

Kathy

Hey Melanie, I'm going to try and check in everyday (I have one of my tabs on my browser on this site, to help remind me ::yes:: ) I'll keep this party young :pirate:

Kathy, have you brought out the whip yet? I'll try to help keep this mob calm. :stir: :stir:

- Josh

Yes, I did a triple whip for Chuck and it didnt seem to scare him a bit:confused3
Guess I am loosing my touch:lmao:

Luckily fo rme he doesnt read this thread :lmao:

Now Greg is a different story, I know he is a Jolly Green Giant in size:rotfl2:
But as long as I am only on the computer I am very brave.
You will notice when the cruise is close and we are about to meet in person I will get very nice.:rolleyes1

Kathy

Josh,
love your ticker:rotfl2:

well it is 45 this morning but sunny. suppose to reach 77 today and in the 90's by the weekend.:thumbsup2
Today I pay the rent here and tomorrow is payday. I have one load of laundry to do today.

See how exciting my life is here today:goodvibes

Of course the pups keep me busy. I am sitting in the passengers chair and Minnie jumps up beside me and goes around circles like a cat and plops beside me, of course I am shoved to 4 inches of the side of the seat now.Sheis too big to sit there.
She does it all the time when I sit here.:lmao: I have a lap throw I put around my shoulders on cold mornings and she wants to be covered up with it so I always have to pull it across her too.
at night she wont settle down to sleep unless she has that blanket over her, even on hot nights.
she will get up to change positions during the nights and she will whimper until you wake up and get up to cover her up again, then she will give a big sigh, smack her lips a couple of times and go right to sleep.
I swear she is worse than the kids ever were.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

well nothing else going on around here right now, will check back at lunch, my time zone.

Don't worry Josh... I bet you'll cruise before then... what are spring break's for??

Jaime-
I either didn't know or didn't remember that you talked to Chris at Magen's Bay!! (Sorry, continuing conversation from other thread...) It was a beautiful day, I really wish Jackson would have cooperated a little more, but I'm glad I got to see it. I just think back to stuff like that to remember why we need to wait until 2009!!:)

Chuck- Hope you're enjoying your boss-free day. Anyone here every work with their spouse before? :confused3 It's challenging... Let's just say I love it when he's off to a meeting somewhere...:rotfl:

Well... I'm off to the mall to check on our display!
