Thats the one

Have you been?

This is our first ever visit

I haven't been yet. My buddy has shown me pictures of their home in Malta and its beautiful! :thumbsup2

He offered to take me with him for Christmas many years ago, but I had to go to Brazil for a job.

Once all my kids are old enough to be at home with out mom and dad I'll take my wife over. My wife lived in Germany and Hungary for a few years and is dying to take me there also.

Hope you enjoy your holiday!!:cool1:

I am working but I keep different hours to you lot.

Have we got any UK Nanas?

I forgot we do have a time difference dont we.
No other UK's yet but most cruises I have been on will have a couple who will post. I have several people from the Uk that I have made friends with on past crusies, so DCL is a popular vacation for people from across the pond as we say over here.:goodvibes
How long a flight is it to get here for you? It must be quite a long trip for you.

Excellent I know a lot of americans don't come and visit our part of the world *** of the cost and stuff but we have some great places I went to germany for 3 weeks when i was young and it was great even picked up some of the language.

All forgotton now though.

I swear I only posted c o s in that last message dunno why its blocked.

Our flight is just over 9 hours on way out and 7.5 on way back thats how comes we only do it every coupla years or so for a long trip.

with all the posting that goes on all day on both threads did you ever wonder who is working to pay off these cruises:confused3

Kathy

Well Uncle Same paid for more then half of our cruise with our stimulus check! :thumbsup2

Thank goodness too, with all the money I've shelled out since the first of the year on home repairs, thanks to my kids!!! :scared1:

9 hours of flying:faint: I know I wouldnt like that.
when we fly from Florida to Oregon it was 7 1/2 one way and 7 hours the other direction with one layover. I HATED it.

My wife and I had a 2 weeks vacation planned starting in London and ending up in Italy in 2002, but after the September 11th attacks we changed our plans!

In fact, I was at the Pentagon 2 weeks before the terrorist attacks. If I had been there 2 weeks later I would have been in the section that was hit!! :scared1: :scared1:

Hi Nanas!

Mel -- stay safe -- they're talking about bad weather in your area. (Why my sister wants to move back to your area is beyond me!!!!) Dawn, are they forecasting anything bad by you?

We just have real high humidity, upper 80's, wind, and potential rain. Nothing too bad, but I guess to the north and south of us it's been bad. (Maybe we're being spared after our January tornado. . .)

Thanks to the weather Jessalyn's "field day" at school was canceled so I'm trying to get some work done.

Love the pictures! I'm ready to go!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Cheri

Cheri-
It does look kinda eerie right now. Chris is supposed to play softball later tonight but I don't think it's gonna happen!

You guys have been busy this afternoon! I don't have time to read all the way through as the kids are home! Will have to catch up later!
