Got the AC charged and then wanted to put the new spare on the front and put the so-so front tire back to use as a spare.
Found out the spare wasnt the same size as the tires on the rig so it is too dangerous to drive like that, tires need to be the same size. So Greg had to buy 2 new front tires. $750.00

Wow! $750 for two tires? You must have an odd size tire? I bought new tires for our RV last year and they weren't nearly that expensive!

When do you leave for Florida?

I can't believe in about 24 hours we'll be on our way to the airport to catch our flight to Aruba!

Well now he wants another payday to help compensate the tires so we are planning on June 24th which happens to be the day we are paid up to here, so it will work out pretty good. Should get there just before the 4th of July traffic, I hope. Going to push it hard this trip.

Have a great trip Greg!! Enjoy Aruba. I had a co-worker that goes every Thanksgiving week. He takes the whole family including his 3 grown DDs, sons-in-law and all the grandkids. I kept asking him to adopt me.

Dawn - good luck on the yard sale. I hope you have better weather then we do. It is pouring today. I mean it was raining buckets when I was trying to get to work. Blech! Maybe it will get it out of its system by the weekend.

Kathy - $750 for 2 tires!!! Wow! Makes me want to call my hubby and ask what he paid for the tires on the old RV. I can't remember the bill being that high! EEK!!

Good morning Nana's!

Well....today is the day! Aruba here we come!!

We leave for Salt Lake City this evening between 6-7pm....(its about a 3 1/2 hour drive to SLC from our house)...our Delta flight doesn't leave till 12:50am in the morning, so we get into Atlanta about 6:15am (Atlanta time) then we've got a 4 hour layover before we catch the flight to Aruba leaving at 10:10am that arrives in Aruba at 2:13pm.......so the 6 hours of sleep I got last night will have to tide me over for the next 48 hours or so?!

Hope you have good smooth flights. That is along time to get there. I hate 4hour lay overs. Once on a train trip I had a 10 hour layover in DC.

Hi Allison.
we are still hot here. Going to hit 90 again today. A bit cooler the next couple of day, only upper 70's and NO rain. This is very unusual for Oregon this early in the summer.


Well we are off to moms again. Probably for the last time before leaving for Florida, maybe once more not sure yet.
Greg will be going to his moms one more time, so I may go along and have hime drop me off on his way. This weekend is painting and flower beds to work on as well as a visit, I hope.

Morning Kathy.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to sitting around in Atlanta for 4 hours, but it was the most direct flight to Aruba. All the other flights had 15 or more hours of layovers!

I keep telling myself I need to start packing, but I haven't done it yet....I hate packing.

I hope your able to have a good visit with your mom before you leave for Florida.

Just a quick hello.....then back to work

Greg have a great time and we want a report when you get back....not that I come on here much...but I'm sure the board will be somewhat less quite....

Nothing much going here. Just going to start some packing of home items and try to get the basement in some order. We have been cleaning it out and Wally is moving out next weekend, so it needs to be completed. (since it is most of his stuff) Then I can really concentrate on packing and keep praying that the people we have the contract with sell their home soon and I can start looking for a place....I havent even begun yet!!!!

It's really warm here today and I'm sure not complaining about that....its been a long time coming.

Good Morning! No one has posted since yesterday early afternoon! Yikes!

Skylar is already off to soccer with Sarah this morning. I have to take Christian to baseball in the other direction. He has tournament play today and tomorrow.

Chance of pop up showers for most of the day--hopefully they will miss us.
