glad your doing better today. So close to that vacation you need to take it easy so you can enjoy it

Allison,
Wow that must of added some excitement to the parade. Guess you just never know what can happen.

No BBQ here today. We dont have a BBQ in the RV.
I did cook some corn on the cob for lunch and will do tacos for dinner. I know a couple neighbors have BBQ's which I am sure we will smell this afternoon.
Lots of nice sunshine today Will be about 70.

I did get to see mom on sunday but it was a half and half visit.
The first part was bad and very hard to handle, the second half was better and we got her to laugh and we took a stroll in the courtyard and sat in the nice sun for abit. Luckily my daughter Marie came too.

Mom didnt remember her for awhile but then she started to remember so she had someone new to talk with. her bad mood was being scared saying she cant protect herself there, no door locks on the rooms. She thought her room mate had spread bad rumors about her and everyone was giving her dirty looks. Then of course she got worse adn said someone was going to kill her.
It went on and on. We distracted her for a few minutes then she would go right back to it again.

The aide who came to get her to go to lunch knew what was happening and she helped us to get her inside. Then her mood changed and she was in her appologietic mood. She kept appologising for walking so slow or having to use the bathroom before going to lunch etc... At that point we could easily leave and she didnt ask to come, she went to lunch instead.
So I did see her and part of it was a good visit. That was better than nothing for me since we are leaving soon for Florida.


It was kind of cute she thought my brother had a farm and she kept asking him about the crops he was growing Also she said he didnt know anything about women. Because he brought her a cookie with no frosting So we did have a few funny moments.

Got laundry to fold, already did the grocery shopping, now I need to cook up some taco meat for dinner.

Just hate having to wait a year and a half till the next time we see the magic. But we do get to WDW in a little over a week to get our disney fix.

too bad you wernt going at the end of the month. I could of zipped over to WDW and met you guys. We are going back between the 11 and 15th of June. The 10th is payday so ahve to wait for that first.

Good evening.

Wow! What a busy day! I was outside all day and even got slightly sun burned?!

I went clothes shopping with Janel to get her a couple of new outfits to wear in Aruba.....she ended up getting shoes, sandals and Ray Ban sunglasses to go with the outfits!

I bought the kids a webcam for their computer so we can chat with them every night before we go to bed. We just did a test call on Skype and it works perfectly! Technology is so amazing!

I'm glad everyone had a good memorial day. Chat with ya'll later.

Good Morning!

The sky is as overcast as my mood. Didn't sleep well at all last night--tossed and turned all night long. Then the boys were not cooperating this morning to get them out the door. Glad there is only two weeks left.

Kathy, glad you got see your mom. Cleaning out the house about done?

Allison, I'm surprised they cancel the parade all together!
Greg, You are always an accident about to happen! Our BBQ turned out well also. Christian was in the pool for a couple of hours yesterday.

Morning all.
It's a beautiful sunny day today going to be heating up pretty good later in the week. Today 70.:
Today I will be working on our travel plans most of the day. At least until my head explodes

Greg, now a sunburn?? Thats suppose to happen ON the trip not before it.

Well off to work on stuff for an hour or two before taking the pups out. I will be back often today since I will be on line most of the day anyway.

Dawn, yes it is. Just little odds and ends to be packed up this weekend and then the furniture to be removed. They wont be removed until Greg and i leave so we can use them while we stay there on the weekends.
I will pack up that stuff this weekend and the guys will clear out the weed beds which use to be a flower bed
Also mom has a small add on room for her porch which needs a little caulking and to be painted. We should get it all done this weekend.

Saturday morning I will try to see mom and saturday evening our daughter Marie and family will come to moms house for dinner to visit once before we leave for Florida and sunday for lunch our other daughter Rachel and her family will come and share lunch with us and visit before we leave too.
They are both busy the next weekend, so this is our last chance to get to visit with them. Peter we have seen every weekend for several weeks and Randy isnt answering his phone which is typical for him.
So it will be an extra busy weekend, working, visiting with family and trying to see mom too. I get tired just thinking of it.

I bought some snorkel gear for Janel and I to take with us, so we don't have to rent it in Aruba.

I called our resort and requested an oceanfront condo and the gal said it wouldn't be a problem.....sounds like things are kinda slow in Aruba.....just the way I like them!

He was going to but we asked him to wait until august or september.
Because if Greg cant find enough work to survive by then we wont be able to stay and theres no point in draging him out there and back again.

Hopefully it will go well and he will join us then.

Hmmm. Maybe Dawn is psychic. I AM trying to go to Philly today for a meeting but my flight is delayed by 90 minutes. I'm in danger of missing my meeting there. Part of me wishes they would just cancel the flight so I can get on with my day.

The kid's last day of school is tomorrow. They get out at 10:15am, school doesn't even start until 8:30am.....not sure what the point in that is?

Hi all!
No big plans for today or even this week. We do have our final GS meeting for the year this Saturday.
We're doing a troop fundraiser car wash next Saturday and then our bridging ceremony on Sunday evening. I love the scouts but this has been a long year!!

Vacation is scheduled for over the 4th of July week. We're camping in Cape May, NJ and I can't wait. We did the same thing last year. It was very relaxing and fun but I might need a new place for next year just to mix it up. Maybe Williamsburg?? Any thoughts for next year?

It amazes me that even with all the airlines cutting back on their flights and pulling hundreds of planes from service they still can't keep the flights on time?!
