11/27/04 the sequel.....

Well, unfortunatly another miscarriage. BUT, at least now we have just about narrowed down the problem. I am so thankful for the two boys I have and my heart goes out to those who go through this and don't already have kids.

We are seeing a specialist next week and visiting two adoption agencies so we can keep all our options open at this time. Thanks for all the prayers, I know God answers all of them!!!

Kim

I am sorry Kim, I do know how disappointing and sad a miscarriage is. ! HUGS

Kim--I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. We'll pray for you and your family.

Curt

Kim, I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers are with you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you :grouphug: I hope all your future news from the doctor is good.

Curt, my deepest sympathies to you and Steph. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers as well :grouphug: What a tragedy to lose a family member so suddenly and at such a young age. I'm sorry for your loss.

Amanda, I hope your icy weather is over. I'm from Cincinnati where they're not that prepared for and experienced with icy and snowy weather. It pretty much shuts down the entire city. I'm sure its 20X worse in when you get hit in Georgia! I agree with Kim and Curt that a Target, mall or restaurant gift certificate is a great idea. Maybe the kids could draw and color a card to put it in.

Well, all for now. I'm so sorry for all the bad news. My heart goes out to all of you.

Tracey, Congratulations on your new job. What a great concept. I'm sure the kids love it.. Hmmm mud painting, nest making, what kid dosen't love that!!!

Diane, I hope you had a safe trip to Chicago.

Take care,
Gailyn :wave2:

Kim, i am so sorry, i hope you are holding up well & that our thoughts are giving you some comfort. :grouphug:

I came on line to tell everyone how proud i am of my daughter Leanne (age 10 years old), she had a literacy exam last week & the teacher told us yesterday that she scored so high they couldnt mark it as it was over the highest grade!!!
The teacher has checked and Leanne has the 5th highest score in the COUNTRY!!!! :teeth:
I wonder what the people who thought i was mad taking her out of school for 3 & a half weeks to come to Florida think now!!! I've always said travel is educational!!! All i can say is she must take after her mother, only joking, i am so proud i could burst :goodvibes

Tracey--congratulations on your new job-it sounds like a great deal of fun. And on your DD as well--how wonderful to have done so well.

Gailyn--thank you for your kind words.

Curt

I got a good giggle out of this and thought I would share

Amanda - :rotfl2: Too funny!

Tracey - That is fantastic news about your daughter! :cloud9: Sounds like a justification for taking her out of school every year for a big Disney trip!

Kim - I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage.  I'm keeping you and John in my thoughts and praying that the adoption process goes quickly for you. You're going to be great parents to a special little someone who desperately needs you. :flower:

Curt & Steph - I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Keeping your family in my prayers.

Tracey,
Fantastic news about your DD :cheer2: :cheer2: Thanks for sharing all your recent good news :flower:

Amanda,
Too funny :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, is anyone still thinking of booking something for '06???? Greg and I were looking at the October 15th or maybe November/beginning of December again. Any one else?????

Kim, I hope the information you received from the adoption agency was helpful and what you wanted to hear.

Have a great day everyone!

Gailyn :flower:

Gailyn,

I have 09/16/06 booked and 05/27/06 booked, would love to have ANY of my fellow 11/27 cruisers join us!

Amanda--too funny! LOL.
Gailyn--we're looking at possibly late November (post Thanksgiving) or early December, but I'm going to look at some rates.

Curt

I'd love to be able to go, but oldest DS will be a junior next year and with the course load he's taking would probably not be the wisest decision. I'd love to go in early summer, (and the kids would love to go again) but just can't justify the prices for the same cruise. :confused3

Wow ... great to see everyone still posting to this thread!!

Curt - so sorry to hear about your BIL. Our thoughts are with you, Steph and the rest of your family. So young - it's just so sad.

Kim - I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It is a difficult time for you and your family and we are thinking of you. YOUR child is out there somewhere - waiting to be born (by you) or waiting for you to find him or her. I thought that was corny when I was adopting, but Matt is MY child and every day I thank God that every step I took, every turn, every delay, every decision ... just everything led me to MY baby. It is amazing.

Tracy - WOW. That's fantasic about your daughter. Definitely gets it from you!!! And just so glad to hear you mention her doing so well while still being out of school. We do need lots of different life experiences to grow - especially Disney experiences (LOL).

Gailyn - thanks for asking - my first trip to Chicago was great - got to see people I hadn't seen in about 6 months. I work long distance with a lot of people in Chicago. But I'm getting up at 3:00am tomorrow moring for the 3rd week in a row. It's getting VERY old. But I go Monday morning and come back Tuesday night so it's a short one.

Gailyn - are you still shooting for the December 3, 2005 trip?

I haven't thought about 2006 yet. Booking a year in advance is amazing for my family!!! Two years and they would lock me up. We'll probably rebook for about the same time in 2006 when we go in Nov/Dec 2005. It's not hurricane season and the prices are good. Also - I love the Christmas decorations every where!!!

I'm sure all of us are waiting for winter to end. I've had more than enough snow and cold - although Matt has been sledding quite a bit and he LOVES it.

Diane

Hi all, thanks for all your kind words. :flower:
Its 2 months today since we got home from Florida & it feels like a life time ago!!
I've had this years brochures out just to get a rough idea of what to pay for next year, I am trying all ways to get the price down so i can convince DH to book!!
What i really really want is to do a week at a universal hotel, a week at the Animal Kingdon Lodge & a week on the cruise around december 2006 ive also looked at staying on the gulf coast instead of the cruise but i dont think its much cheaper.
Can anyone tell me if i can book a disney & universal hotel direct & if so how?? :wave2:
Hope everyones had a good weekend. :Pinkbounc

Tracey I do not know if 800 numbers are accessible for yo, but if so you can call 1800BEASTAR for loews hotels which are the universal properties in Orlando. A hint, though, if you stay on site at a Universal Hotel you will not need a FULL week to do the parks. You get unlimited front of the line access....We went in June of 2003 and we stayed for 5 days, By the 4th day we were getting bored. We just went 3 weekends ago, and we only stayed for 2 nights with 2 days at the parks, and we got everything done. I would have liked to of had a 3rd day. I think 3 days onsite would be perfect.

dizneprincess: thanks, i'm not sure if i can call that number either. Is there a web site i can go on to book?? :wave2:

Subject: Computer Hard and Software:
Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed
that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a
lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed
itself into all other programs and now monitors all other
system>activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0,
Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no longer run, crashing the
system whenever selected.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run
my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend
7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help! Thanks, A
Troubled User. (KEEP READING) ______________________________________

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is
just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING
SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also
impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is
impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once
installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is
designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under
Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and
work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background
application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. The best
course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately
you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will
return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be
very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs,
such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be
very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the
system to launch the program Nag, Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only
way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional
software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0! WARNING!!! DO NOT,
under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This
application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible
damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,
Tech Support

PS tracey, I would be happy to cordinate everything for you. I get a kick out of doing that. Just let me know!:cool1:
