Amanda - I'm doing the 4-day in September also! I'm not sure who I'll be cruising with, as the friend who was going with me had to back out when she accepted a contract job with no time off allowed! Anyway, it's the 9/5 sailing - when is yours?

Wow! LOL Sue, we got a great deal on the 09/18 sailing that we could not pass up! So looks like you will be beating me to it. We have never sailed the Wonder before, and we will not have the kiddos with us. Should be interesting

Hi everyone
This is our 2nd cruise, we did the 4 day Wonder, so this is our first 7 night cruise!

Counting the weeks:wave2:

We've all been kind of quiet lately haven't we!! I know atleast at our house it isn't because we haven't been thinking about the cruise. I can't wait!!!

We just got our DCL DVD so we have been watching and planning lately.

Would be interested to know what excursions every one is plannig for St. T/St. M?

Last visit we did the Butterfly Farm in St. M. It was just o.k. Just rode the tram to the top of the hill in St. T then spent the rest of the day on the ship.

Looking to do something different this time.

I have had sooo much going on. This past weekend my DH and I had to drive to OKC to give my 3 oldest kids to my parents for the WHOLE summer. I miss them terribly already, even tho they bug the heck out of me when they are here. LOL But I know they are having fun. That just just leaves me, DH and Nate our 1 yr old son. Feels so quiet around here. Also I have been reading " The DaVinci Code" and it is quite interesting. Hard to put down LOL I guess I havent been planning as much for this cruise as we did for our halloween cruise last year. I havent even begun to think about excursions, I mean is there any that will top or even compare to Swimming eith the stingrays in Grand Cayman ar doing the Royal Swim in Chaankanab Park in Cozumel??????

Did you all see the good news on the regular cruise board? Cokes will now be free at Deck 9 drink station starting June 12th! Yipee!!!!!!! It is a very active thread over on the regular cruise board! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi all! Is anyone else going a little crazy with all the end of the year jazz?

I would also love to hear any excursion advice. We have two boys 9 & 12.

We just paid our balance:Pinkbounc Are we excited!!!!

See you all soon. Have a safe and happy summer:wave:

We're thinking of mountain biking in St Maarten - if they still have that excursion. In St Thomas I'll probably opt to stay on the ship while it's uncrowded!

Hmm..mountain biking Sue? I dont know about that! LOL I just want to relax :-)

We don't have any excursions planned and I don't think we will be doing any. We kind of just want to wander around and explore things on our own. We haven't got anything planned for St. Martin yet but for St. Thomas we know we want to do the Sky Tram thingie and we want to have lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe' there. :)

I understand, lol! However, I tend to use my cruises to try stuff I don't normally do at home. Plus in this case we'll be in "training" for the Disney half marathon in January. In fact, my training schedule begins tomorrow (6/14) with running 6 days a week in preparation for the 13.2 mile run in January. I should mention I'm NOT a runner, and discovered after signing up that I hate jogging! Sheila I think will be walking most of the half marathon, but hopefully she'll do some jogging as well.

Brave woman you are! The only thing I am in training for starting today is how to live without my kids around! LOL The 3 eldest went to spend the whole summer with my parents in Colorado! Then my babysitter is on vacation this week, so my MIL is keeping the baby for us all week long. We won't know what to do withourselves! LOL Yesterday was our 11 year anniversary. The time sure does fly!

My baby sis (Tiffany) got married this past Saturday so our family can FINALLY start planning our cruise in full now!!! ;) I was her unofficial "wedding" planner and was so please that everything went extremely well. It was so nice to hear guests' comments on how lovely the reception was and how elegant we all looked!! princess:

My older sis (Terri) shared this weekend that she doesn't know if she will be able to come on the cruise-she was recently remarried and has used all her vacation time!! This I DIDN'T know. My brother and SIL (Todd and Janet) were the ones I thought would bail on us due to financial difficulties, but they continue to talk like they are coming with us. I really hope that everyone will be able to come, but I also understand financial troubles and limited vacation time. DH isn't coming cuz he's a teacher (high school) and the more we talk about the cruise, the more sad he gets that he is missing out! Kind of funny since he was so anti-cruise to start with! :smooth:

I'm SO ready for the cruise!! I've been reading my new DCL passporter (deluxe version...my first!) and am pretty set on doing some sort of snorkeling expedition in St. John. I did some honeymoon planning for Tiffany and John and they seriously considered St. John as a honeymoon destination. (However, St. Lucia won out as we will be going to St. Thomas/St. John on the cruise!) I've never been snorkeling in the ocean before (only at the Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon, actually!), but I'm really excited about doing it on St. John as it is supposed to be great!
Still not sold on any expeditions listed for St. Martin and might just get off the boat and browse.

I've already made a list of "must dos" to include the spa, Palo, Mickey mania, bingo, swimming, reading on a padded lounger, and family trivia...and the list keeps growing!! (When will I fit in time with my family??)

Thanks for listening! I haven't been on here in a LONG while due to wedding planning and just wanted to keep in touch!

*dons her gorgeous bridesmaid gown and dances 'round the computer station with make-believe tiara in place*

:p IVY :p

Hi Ivy! Glad all went well with the wedding. I somehow get the title of wedding planner quite often and it can be pretty stressful. Just wanted to say hi. We live in VA as well.

Cruising can't come soom enough:wave:
