11/27/04 the sequel.....

Hi CSX2, We will be across the hall from you in cabin 7127. Unless we get upgraded but I'm not counting on that. It will be myself, DS12 and DD8. Look forward to sailing with you.

It's been a while since I posted so I just wanted to say "hi!" to all my fellow cruise mates! FINALLY got my deluxe DCL Passporter and can't wait to read/memorize/study all the cool info! ;) My family is slowly seeing the "light at the end of the tunnel" as our cruise date inches closer and wanted to know if anyone out there has any cool ideas on how to make our cruise REALLY special for my nephew Micah. (We are "celebrating" his birthday with a family cruise!) We are definitely considering matching T-shirts and something neat in magnets for the doors of our group. Where should we look for inexpensive matching T's??

Also wanted to hook my nephews (Matt who will be 16 by cruise date and Micah who will 12 by cruise date) and niece (Moriah who will be 14 by cruise date) up with a few cruise penpals to get them excited!! Please email me with email address (tvctlc@yahoo.com) or send me a PM!

I'm not sure if you all have spoken about this at all but is anyone planning a Dis meet for our cruise? I know it is still very early but I was just curious. Have a great day everyone!

We're staying at the Holiday Inn in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise. But we probably won't be arriving until about 7 or 8pm.
Don't know where we're staying after the cruise (2 nights), but we'll pick some place in Orlando.

DIS Meet sounds like a good idea. Looks like we have some very friendly people. And, we definitely want to have my son meet the other 5 year olds. Maybe he'll go to the club if he has some buddies.

Hey Everyone! Has anyone thought about which excursions to do? With a 3 & 5 year old I thought the Beach would be our best bet! Any ideas?

BAREFOOTER
We're probably going to do the Champagne Catarmaran to St Johns. Nothing at St Martin. Our group this year is six adults - no kids. My wife and I are doing the REAS package and have selected St Martin day for the breakfast in bed and couples massage.

Last year our group had six kids, mostly under 5. Most parents elected to stay on board during port days and not hassle with hauling the kids around, but take advantage of the empty on board pools. Someone did the St Martin butterfly excursion. It was OK. If you are going to get off the ship, probably beach excursions would be best.

Changed TA to DU today and saved $640! We are still in a CAT7 but will probably get a new stateroom number.

New reservation went thru and we are now in 7622. Also made reservations at CBR for two days prior to cruise - got $84/night via SOG overflow rate.

Excursions - Our son is 5 and he loves the beach. We'll be doing it on our own - like we did on the last 2 cruises. Very simple and lot less expensive than an excursion. I can't see paying $100+ for 3 of us to go to the beach.

St Maarten - the beach right in town. The water is surprisingly clean. We take the water taxi for $5/adult and rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for $10. It's certainly not a secluded beach but we enjoy it.

St Thomas - Magen's bay. Taxi for $6/person and $3/adult to get on the beach ... my brain is worn out tonight. I can't remember my favorite island's prices.

We used to love the snorkeling excursions, but not with a 5 year old. Maybe again some day in the future.

Number 8 for us-but still just as exciting as #1!!! Almost down to the 180 day mark!!!

Number four for us. Two Wonder 4 Days and this will make the second Magic 7 Day.

It is my mom, my brothers, and my 2nd cruise 1 - 4 day on the Wonder and now the 7 day. It is my dad's first cruise For those who are leaving on the 26th it is 180 day's till we leave !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be #9 on DCL for me, and I've done 8 on other lines as well. I think it'll be Sheila's 5th.
