Eveing all:

Well I was off work today, went and took my dad to a "cousin's luncheon" along with my two sisters. We actually had a very nice time. I havent seen them for a few years...and since they are all getting up in years it was fun to see and chat with them.

Now home and just relaxing, and back to work tomorrow.

Everyone stay cool.....especially Christine....we are getting a cool down for this weekend.

Greg said they might go to their condo at Yellowstone for the weekend. He wants to sit in the hot tub and listen at the wolves howling.

You notice he didnt invite any of us to go along After all the nice things we have said about him. I just cant figure it out

I had to give you a hard time about something Denise.

If you'd like to come rent our condo just let me know. Its completely booked up until about the 3rd week in October this year, but next year is open.

We're taking the whole family to Jamaica in two weeks to one of those all inclusive resorts.....they even provide "vacation nannies" to all the families which I'm very excited about because then Janel and I will be able to go scuba diving with Chayce while the nanny takes care of the other kids!

After a week in Jamaica we'll fly into Orlando for about 10 days to hopefully watch a shuttle launch on Aug. 18.

Denise, we sure did get a cool down. It's 57 degrees right now! Good sleeping but we haven't been in the pool for 2 days!

Been busy here. Going try to get the zoo and the air museum in the next couple of weeks.

Greg sounds like you are enjoying your summer!
Any updates on the house Denise?

Morning all:

Dawn: no news on the house.....the person we have the contingency contract on her contract is up on the 24th of this month.....so I dont know if I will give her another 30 days or just put it back on the market. I just wish this would get over fast......Wally moved out last weekend,which was a good thing.....we really needed to be away from each other....and I'm really like living here by myself....the house stays sooooo clean....its amazing.....but I just need to move on also and get a place of my own. Plus with the possibility of Heather being deployed at the end of the year, I will be getting the baby and I would like to be settled somewhere by then.

But not much else going on here. Another cool day here also, and partly cloudy here too. But I do enjoy having my windows open and getting this fresh air in here.

Oh boy...your life will certainly change.

Denise, Just a couple of ideas for you: If you relist--get a stager. Hire a stager than comes in with a critical eye and you should be able to see her percentage of sales after staging. The percentage of houses moving after is very high. You said that you did good on your house inspection already? Also, I've seen sellers make notebooks with information on the house, i.e. receipt when the furnace was last cleaned, if appliances are staying--include books and receipts, electric, gas and water bills, put the house inspection in the book too, etc.

I am feeling arnry today It was so hot at moms I didnt sleep much so I am looking for trouble, Where's Greg

Had a great visit with mom and my mother in law is buying my moms mobile home as soon as its ready for her So that is great for her and us.
Kinda makes me feel weird though, in a good way

It was HOT, upper 90s all weekend and mom only has 1 window AC unit in the kitchen which due to a wall wont spread to any other room. I had 2 small oscellating fans but thats all. So I was roasting

Going to be 100+ by next saturday
Not normal for Oregon.

Hope everyone had a good weekend I will go back and read the posts after I get some rest,

Good Morning!

100 degrees! OMG! If it gets 90 here, we are roasting! You must feel like you are turning on a spit!

Morning everyone. Even though the this cruise is over two years aways Joey and I were talking about it this weekend (since it will be the next Disney Cruise we go on). We are both really excited for the new ships and actually wouldn't mind if we had to do a back 2 back 3/4 day cruise. Two days at Castaway Cay and all the rest on the ship. I think it would be cool the have the whole ship to ourselves when we dock back in Port Canaveral. How does everyone else feel about a possible back 2 back?

Christine, I think he new ship in 2011 is ONLY doing the 7 day cruises and replacing the Magic the 2012 ship will replace the Wonder for 3 and 4 day cruises. I believe that is what I read, so maybe B to B in 2012??
But remember that is more expensive than a 7 day Usually. It will depend on the economy how their prices will be then.
