sorry no shuttles that I know of. When we came to visit before moving here we took a taxi to Universal from WDW for the day. That was 9 years ago and there was 3 of us and it was around $25 plus tip, one way. I'm sure it would be more now and Sea World is a tad bit closer than Universal to WDW.


Bill, I know you are usually a nice Mutt, but I do recall that you even said the you "bite" once in awhile and there was soemone who posted last time on the "other board" that never came back after you posted!! Can't remember the name?? I know it couldnt of been anything I said to scare her away, so it must of been you.

So far no signs of you being kicked off the other thread. I have had them delete entire posts I had written where I mentioned the BAD name like you did.

Well yesterday Greg booked us a cruise this summer on a different line since the Magic is going to be gone. We are doing a 7 day Western on the Carnival Glory and taking our DD, Marie and her family with us. Should be fun.

I am so glad that the Magic wont be in port that saturday or I know I would be standing on the top deck waving at the Magic with my Mickey hand, my lower lip quivering as we pulled out leaving the Magic behind.
People would think I was nuts standing there with a mickey hand, but I would do it!!!

well we are suppose to hit 70 today, so it should be a nice day here. Hope everyone has a good day too,

oh brother Holly....you sure opened up a can of worms. Woo will tell you that I don't make sense on MANY levels. As for "Tonky"... he's just a dog that came from Totanka....near Buenos Aire. Nothing more to it.

Mears runs transportation to both seaworld and Universal - just check with your resort for schedule and pick up location.

The alternative would be to take the Lynx bus, I believe from the ticket and transportation center. For schedule, check their website.

You can rent a compact car from the car care center for about 25 - 30$ for 24 hours, though, so depending on how many people you're transporting, that may be the less expensive alternative.

So I saw a great deal for a 4 day cruise for April 2007... Called to get a quote. I thought I was putting a deposit down so I could talk to hubby about it tonight--NOPE!!!! Seriously! Guy came back and said, "Ok, you're paid in full!"

OH MY. I'm sooooo dead. The only thing saving me at this moment is my hubby has "accidentally" bought a big screen tv online (AmEx "Wish List" giveaway--he "won" one--$1200 for a $2500 tv) and then called me. THAT was a fun call! *eyeroll* He's never allowed to talk to me about tv's again... until I bring it up.

But, hey, I have a 4 day cruise in a CAT 5, mid-ships! And the airfare is currently pretty cheap! Thank goodness! I'm going to need it!!!

I hope you guys hear from me again! I'm going to need to talk fast to get to keep both cruises! I'm going to drag him to the first cruise, then he'll decide to go on the 2nd (aka, let me pay for it!). He won't have a CHANCE once he sees Fiona having a blast!

Kathy, believe it or not I'm here

Not much going on today it's kinda nice here again, in the 60's and sunny. That's about all.

I have been looking online for cheap dresses and suits. JC Penny's has Tux's for $99 so I'll be getting one for my DH. We will be going on other cruises so at least he'll have his own Tux plus it's cheaper than having to rent one each time. Haven't really found any gowns that I'm crazy about but I have plenty of time Can you tell I love to pack. I am already thinking about it.

Christine, I was so pleasantly surprized to see you posting in the middle of the week. $99 is a good buy for a tux, grabit quick before they are gone!!
Be sure and let me know when you find a gown you like and buy. We ladies love to hear descriptions of others dresses. so maybe we wont all be the same!!

Whatcha wanna know, Brandie? And hey, how did hubby take the news about the additional cruise??

I wanna get off that durn fence about which hotel and how to get where ever (ship, whatever we're going to do for the day we have after the cruise). I got the plane tickets (Frontier, non-stop, thank goodness for the tv, 'cause that is one full flight!), got kiddo slots at Flounders (budgeting exactly 2 hours for meals, just the 2 of us!), and now am wondering about the Atlantis aquarium tour.

This cruise HAS to be relaxing and not as much go go go... because that was the hubby's reaction when he got home. He doesn't want a repeat of the running all over for dinner like we did at WDW in Oct 2006 "Race for the ADR with a VERY sick kid" vacation. So he's ok with me doing the sting ray thing by myself while he plays with kiddo for an hour at CC. So long as he doesn't get drug all over, he's happier. Note I did not say happy!

I talked -very- fast when he got home. I pointed out that this cruise is a thousand dollars less (made him happy) and it is shorter (made him happy) and the fact that this ship has sprinklers for Fiona to play in (which is the best good memory from the Oct '06 trip --> Fiona playing in the Epcot sprinklers). So sucker punches all over... less money, shorter time from work, and his babygirl.

Nevermind the fact that -I'm- paying for these vacations... So we weren't fussing about household money, just "play" money and taking actual time away from work!! *GASP* I told him to suck it up, he was going on vacation whether he liked it or not. This guy has only taken 2 weeks off for his daughter's birth 2 years ago for vacation (and he got calls at the end begging his help), so it is about time. He doesn't OWN the company; he just works there!!

I also dared him to come up with an equally kid-friendly idea that didn't involve being on a plane for 9 hours or more, and he caved. Hawai is 9 hours, btw. And he doesn't like those prices even more!!! He wants Hawai and Japan. Not happenin'. At least, not until he makes it worth our while to be on a plane with him for that long... *urgh* He goes batty after 15 minutes.

So, yeah, I'm still feeling guilty (hence all the blathering and worrying about arrangements) and also trying to recover from my amazingly good luck here. Hubby is resigned. Fiona is clueless, but she'd like the "Ariel" movie, please (that's my girl!!!). The two of them are home sick and miserable. They're in the basement, I'm upstairs with my 2 laptops trying to be useful.

Here's a funny on my baby... Last night, Fiona hit me in her sleep. I went, "Owww!" and she, immediately (in her sleep) said, "Sorry!"

Oh, yeah, she's getting a Disney cruise. That's my girl!!! She's got manners!
