Hello all ... hubby and I will be on the Magic's Nov 25th Eastern Carribean cruise, our stateroom is on Deck 5 and we are also celebrating our 10th anniversary! We are hoping to "meet" a few people ahead of time and thought maybe a message board was the way to go! Please write if you will be there too. We are in Akron, Ohio.

good morning to all,

It is cool and a bit breezy this morning, only suppose to get to mid 60's today.

we watched the new James Bond movie, Casino Royal. Anyone else see it? I still dont understand exactly what the plot was?? A couple of times I thought I was understanding, but then it didnt make sense again. Maybe I just missed something along the way, but to me it was so confusing.


Dont know what we will do this weekend if anything at all.

Minnie woke up feeling good today. She is being a pest again, that is so nice to have her bouncing all over us, tossing toys in out laps and just driving us nuts. Normal again

Wendy I think you said today was Mike's birthday. so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE

Today, though my hubby doesn't know it yet, is shoes shopping day! Woohoo! Kiddo needs at least 2 pairs of shoes. Hubby needs pants, too. I may be nice and throw in a furniture expedition to appease him.

Nice weather, so I'm going to take advantage of it!

Kathy, glad Minnie is finally feeling better.

It is pretty cold here again. It was in the low 30's this morning and that feels really cold after a couple of days in the low 80's last week. We were at the soccer fields at 8:30 this morning for our youngest dds game. The fields were still too wet from the rain this week so they cancelled. Looks like a good day to hang out around the house and watch some movies.

Well, it's all Jan's fault! She invited me to join her for dinner after work last Thursday at a new Mexican restaurant in town. We ate at the bar and let's just say everything was VERY authentic, including the employees! Great view, and I'm not talking about looking out the window. Catch my drift? I was actually having difficulty focusing on our conversation.....too much distraction with ALL waiters (only 1 waitress). ALL young, hot men. (Hoping I don't get censored, suspended, or kicked off for saying that).

I enjoyed being there so much, the next night (Friday), I convinced another friend to go with me. She loved it as much as I did. Well, after a few flirting glances by me, aimed at a particular waiter, he kept coming to sit next to me to talk. Long story short......Alejandro & I have been spending lots of time together. He's 27 (I'll be 37 in a couple months), and VERY cute!

Busy week -- DH was SUPPOSED to go to Nashville for a "conference". (3 days of and golf, with a meal or two thrown in) He decided at 5:00a.m. Wednesday that he wasn't going to go. I got to go to work while he stayed home.

At least my glass of wine was waiting for me each night!

Getting geared up for a 20K trail race today. Ugh! It's the 4th of 4 in a series and if I finish, I get a long-sleeved t-shirt! I'm apparently pretty desperate for a shirt.

Holly, keep giving us the juicy details!

Wow!!!!!!!! That must really take some endurance. If I tried to do a 20k race, the only shirt I would get is the blue one that ties up in the back that you get at the ER!! LOL

Forgot to mention this last night but I saw a clip on ABC news late last night about a guy on a Royal Caribbean cruise who was so drunk, he fell overboard. He fell 60 feet to the water, managed not to get sucked into the propellers, and survived 6 hours treading water until he was rescued. Apparently, as soon as he fell, the Coast Guard was notified and started looking right away. Can you imagine treading water for 6 hours?! They said it's very rare to survive falling overboard, so he sure was lucky!
