It got into the 40s here today too and it's supposed to be 50 tomorrow! WOOHOO!

Happy Monday everyone,
well it is another week closer to the cruise!!!
I have been thinking about door signs, but nothing definate yet.

Bill, how are the designs for the shirts coming? I know you said you had a few ideas for them. Any thoughts on it?

Hope everyone has a great day today!!

And the house needs cleaned ... *sigh* ... like Scarlett O'Hara said, I can't think about that now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about it tomorrow.

I live by that sentiment! :thumbsup2 (I did do some "spring cleaning" yesterday -- I had been putting off the project for SEVERAL tomorrows.)

We got a call from our T/A last week saying our flights were cancelled and that we had to be re-booked on others. We were originally supposed to leave Milwaukee at 9:45 a.m. on Friday after Thanksgiving, now we have to leave at 7:30. Our flight on the way back was supposed to leave at around 1:00. Now the only non-stop after noon is at 7:00. OR we could fly to Kansas City and then fly to Milwaukee.:confused3

I think I'm remembering why we flew out of O'Hare last year! Oh well, we'll see how many times the flight situation changes before the cruise!

Great weather these past few days -- temps hitting high 40's/low 50's.:cool1: Could spring really be on its way??? The birds (robins, red-wing black birds, etc.) are back so apparently they think warm weather should be here soon.

Have a great day!

Cheri

Good Morning all:

It suppose to be 75 here in Misery (MO). Sorry Linda, had to rub it in. We are SO enjoying the nice weather. Hope everyone is fine, we are all muddling through waiting patiently for Spring Break in next week. Hunter has Soccer and Baseball camps that week. He will be dead dog tired. Hope all is well with everyone and we miss ya all.

Am I the only one whose computer and cell phone changed time today? Strange.:confused3

Nope... I'm running XP on my laptops, so those are fine and auto-updated. Windows 2000 and ME didn't get any patches, so those have to be manually updated, just like the clock on your oven.

The cell phones pick up the time and auto-update from the towers they connect to.

Now, if you used an ATM, what time did your receipt show? :rotfl:

Another thing would be security cameras at the Bank... Wonder if those got updated.

*shaking my head* There are soooo many things that had to be patched. I've personally been working on all the ramifications since November of last year, and we still had an emergency on Friday with patches not working. I had a team member do the 5 am call-ins on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday... He reports there were no issues, but to wait until Tuesday to be sure.

And then we watch everything again on the regular DST change night. :headache:

My husband brought up the fact that hourly workers (like the 24 hour Wal-Mart down the road) got shorted an hour with DST. He took offense to that.

Kathy, the pictures made me giggle :rotfl2: ! I give you lots of credit for even riding them!

We are back from WDW and couldn't have asked for better weather! It was so great to have the sun and 80's all week. Went to the Pirate and Princess Party and they had so much stuff to do that we actually didn't even get all finished! (And as always there was no waiting in lines--AWESOME!!

Well. the baby won't let me type anymore. Nice
'catching up" with you guys.

Dawn

"It's the Honker Duckie Dinger jamboree!" Honk-honk, squeak-squeak, ding-ding. Have I lost my mind, or what?!

*chuckle* That's actually the skit I was thinking when I said the Honkers.

The other one is "Put Down the Ducky" with Ernie and the owl, with all the guest appearances from famous people before they were so famous.

*wave*
Have a great night! It was over the 70's here! *woohoo* THAT's the Denver I know and love!

Brandie

Hi Dawn,
so happy to hear you had a great time.:thumbsup2
I have not been to the princess and pirate party myself, but I have read a lot of great reports about it.

Hope everyone had a good day today.
time to put my feet up and relax for a bit, then the dreaded dishes will be waiting for me.:sad2:

That's Hoots the Owl! Oh, the things that clutter my brain ...

It was 51 here. Warmest day yet this spring! :thumbsup2

Alright, how long ago is that from?? It's been a couple years since we've watched the Street in this house. When she does actually watch TV, DD has moved onto Disney Channel with occasional bouts of Noggin.

Someone had mentioned the old Fisher Price Sesame Street set a while back -- I have that (it's still being stored at my mom's, otherwise Jess would have it now.)!!:thumbsup2 I also used to listen to my Sesame Street records that featured the Gordon with hair. Maybe we can sing some of those old songs when we get together!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Have a good night! Temps were in the 60's today!:cool1: :cool1:

His name was Matt Robinson (the original Gordon). Gordon and Susan's last name is Robinson, in tribute to the original Gordon.

C'mon people! Give me something harder! :lmao:

Have you read the wikipedia article on Sesame Street? There's an effort to authenticate all the guest appearances that have been thrown on that page.

Interesting reading, though.

I once saw a documentary on the Sesame Street "process." Did you happen to catch that? It showed the behind-the-scenes of starting a Sesame Street in another country and the cultural challenges. Very interesting to see the different points-of-view to something so important to my childhood.

Hey all, I'd like to take this moment to say that SAT's are SO LONG!!! :confused3
I think I'll taqke the ACT's as well. I don't think I did so hot on the SAT's, we'll find out in a month! :hourglass :hourglass

Speaking of singing those songs, one of the bedtime songs Tyler always makes me sing, ever since he was old enough to ask for it, is Sunny Days! And when we were on our way to see Sesame Street Live recently, he asked if they'd be singing that song. You should have seen us jump up and down with excitement when they actually did sing it! :rotfl2:

Josh,
I'm sure you did great!!!!
I'll bet you feel a sense of great relief that they are done:thumbsup2

Now you can relax. At least until they post results;)

Kathy

WOW,
Nobody has posted since 6 a.m. where is everyone:confused3

It is so lonesome here:sad1:

I need some posts to come along, way too boring around here today.

Hope somebody will at least say goodnight.

Beautiful day today! Sunny and got up to 73, but it's just a teaser because tomorrow and Thursday are supposed to be 50 with thunderstorms, then in the 30s and snow the rest of the week.
