Judy, you mentioned parking at the GF. Just wonder if the parking rules changed there like they did at the Contemporary. My name was on the list and they give you a 3 hour pass that lays on the dashboard of your vehicle. There is no more unlimited parking. Hate for someone to drive over and can't park!

Just pay the valet parking!!!! It is SO WORTH IT! We like to do it at the Grand Floridian because it is gorgeous and so near the MK. We may do somewhere else for MGM but the valet charge is good for all day, any hotel. Feels like royalty to use valet parking....

When we parked at the Contemporay they told us we could only park there for 3 hours in self parking. We valeted the car for $6 and was able to park there all day. Don't know if they still allow this but it was worth the money to be able to just take the monorail to our car at the end of a very busy day.
Yes it would!

That's what we do too. We always feel very guilty doing it but we get over it. We are paying after all. When we aren't staying near Epcot, we park at the BC for free because we are DVC members.

Judy - as a DVC member you get free valet parking at any of the DVC resorts that offer valet. So...Beach Club, Boardwalk and Wildnerness Lodge - all free!

back to cleaning.... my hands are starting to prune....:sad2:

This is the way I look at...
I have finally met some people who GET IT... the love of a good vacation,a good drink, a warm climate, and a Disney Ship. After that, there is NOTHING to worry about- you are my family of choice!

Jeff: We just became DVC members last cruise-we plan to go to SSR in Feb. for our 20th anniversary....do we get discount park tickets?? If so, how do I get them?? Is it through the DVC site???

To get a discount you have to buy annual passes (which we did this year). You get a $100 discount on an AP per person. It is worth it if you go to Disney twice in a year for a total of 7 or 8 park days. We bought ours in May (four days), went back in August (five days), are going in January (five days) and possibly again in March (5 days), so we will get "our money's worth." But there is no discount for one day or hopper passes. You can get them through the DVC website.

Got the drugs yesterday...Today I'm a little better as I got a Z-pack and it usually starts working pretty fast. woo hoo.

Geez Jeff... I can't believe you're still sick! Hope youre better soon.

Bad news is that Jackson is sick too. Had to use the breathing machine on him last night because he was wheezing and he doesn't want to eat. If it continues I'm going to take him right in this week! Not taking any chances!

Anyway... I'm trying to get caught up... but I am WAY behind on posts and I need to go do some work now!!:laundy:

I helped Chris shoot a wedding yesterday which took ALL day. Today he is out hunting pheasant so the boys have kept me hopping!

Hi Mel! Is Chris doing a happy dance???:dance3: :cool1:

Bill told me the score and I automatically assumed K-State had won. What a pleasant surprise!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

At least you know it'll be sunny at work this week!:rotfl2:

Cheri,
We didn't find out until we were in-between the wedding and reception and stopped at a bar with the wedding party. Chris didn't believe the girl who told it to us until he saw the scroe on tv.:rotfl:
Yeah, maybe the boss=lady will be less crabby tomorrow since they won!

How many of you have crused together before?

i think you all know each other very well!
