Sarah's team won...crazy cold out for Wilmington. We'll have to celebrate DH's birthday tomorrow...Judy, ideas? Oh, and by the way...he bought himself a new miniature dvd or whatever recorder. I was looking for something under $300. Not him...he always spends more on his toys.

Two weeks from now, we'll be TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!

Hey everyone -

Spent the afternoon with the girls, made dinner together and then our "spa night" - which consists of dressing mommy up in jewelry and hair bows and barettes and more while watching Hannah Montana and Stuart Little 2.

Great evening overall, until my youngest grabbed her ear and said "it hurts Mommy - my ear hurts a lot" All I could think of was "oh great - now i have to find time to go to the doctor while packing, shopping,making door magnets, working, and everything else!" Maiya said Momma - why don't we just candle her ears? - Such a smart girl!

Catey fell asleep while I candled her ears - and I think I will have to again in the next few days. She said after the first one that it already felt better - must have, because she fell asleep right after I started the right ear. So then I did Maiya's and then Maiya helped me do mine - wow! It does feel much better - I just don't want either of the girls to be sick on the cruise or during WDW trip! Have to add candles to the packing list

Kathy - I will post this weekend - have to work briefly in the am and then scrapbooking tomorrow night with a friend. Started my packing today - went through most of clothes that I would want to bring with me but yikes - have to reduce them considerably!

My toiletry and medication list is ridiculous! Wow!!

I am SO EXCITED!!!!!! It's great to know that there are so many of us out there...can you IMAGINE the energy this crowd will create???? GOOD TIMES!

Josh...no need to be scared....The AuntieWoo has gone to bed.

Here Remembrance Day is a national holiday...it is always November 11 but if it falls on the weekend and your office or school is not open then you get to have Monday off...

Morning everyone,

at WDW be sure and do the Pirates attraction and Haunted mansion, also Philharmagic, all at MK. They are awesome attractions.
as far as decoratiosn go, MGM is the best for the parks and the Castle is extra special at Mk this year but it only shows up after dark.

The Grand Floridian has the best gingerbread house in the lobby where you can buy gingerbread cookies.
Yacht and beach club has a large gingerbread carousel which is awesome too.



No 3 day weekend here. Only state, federal people have it off, maybe school employees too.

HI Kathy, you posted while I was typing! Don't you just LOVE the Floridian at CHristmas???????

We use to go to Universal and sea world too, but we don't have annual passes for them right now.

Universal use to decorate Seuss's landing and it was really neat but now they stopped doing it and I havnt heard of them decorating any where now.

Sea world sometimes has a Norman Rockwell Christmas exhibit that is really great.

I love it when they parks have it snow after dark. A couple of years we were walking along looking at the lights in shorts and tank tops while having it snow on you. That felt strange of course Florida's snow is warm snow

Hi, Kathy,

Jaime can explain ear candling in detail, but I had it done once and it's great. Health food stores have these special dripless candles...you lie down with one ear up, and someone holds the bottom of the candle in your ear...it draws the crud out of your ear canal! When the candle burns down, you can see the yucky stuff that had your ears all stuffed up! Sounds weird, I know, but if you have head colds, it is a wonderful thing.

Can't wait to see the castle, GF's lobby, and the Osbourne Family Lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure how we will do it all. Judy and I have to strategize today...
