Rick - Love your answer to the QOD. I have often had a fantasy of living in a small college town in the midwest (Iowa always comes to mind) and working as the PR guy at the college. Sort of like "Coach" but I'm the PR guy and I'm in Iowa instead of Minnesota. And the town is just as you describe it above.

Ok.... time to get ready for the last full week before the ship! My next timetable goal is the weather channels 10 day forcast for Akron, Orlando, Port Canaveral, St. T St. M. St. J and Castaway.....may we have warmth and clear sailing! If it has to rain...let it rain margaritas....

Bad news is that Jackson is sick too. Had to use the breathing machine on him last night because he was wheezing and he doesn't want to eat. If it continues I'm going to take him right in this week! Not taking any chances!

Alicia woke up midnight sick last night...she has allergies...she is on a 6 month waitlist to get testest

I thought I'd check in quick before I sign off for the evening. The family came over for a few hours. HAD to play with Elizabeth, Skylar isn't feeling well, working on another fish extender , have to help Skylar type up a paper, taping Life is Wild and watching Amazing Race.

No library tomorrow due to Veteran's Day. What will I do with extra time? hmmmm....

I know I wasn't on the cruise last year, but I feel after one year on the boards that I can't wait to meet everyone in person!

Annual passes are the way to go to WDW very often (this year a 2 day hopper is over $100): Sept 06 7 days; Nov 06 11 days; Feb 07 7 days; Aug 17 days. So on last year's annual pass we had 42 days. I don't know to figure it out but that also included trips to the water parks and Disney Quest which makes the cost even less.

Well, got to go. Catch 'ya tomorrow.

Well, if your AP was $420, your 42 park days averaged out to $10 each. Sounds like a deal to me!

DD put up our tree, but I haven't hauled ornaments, etc. down yet. At lunch time, DD said that she wanted to have Thanksgiving TODAY! Like it's easy finding a fresh turkey breast on Sunday afternoon. I rushed like a maniac, we ate, and now I'm on the couch. I'm starting to get all breathless because some of you are already packing!

I might just have to get fired up with some organizing tonight.

Okay...I have been putting of the decorating and packing...I still am having a hard time understanding that we are leaving in less than two weeks!!!!

We watched the Wizard of Oz this weekend too. Alex really got in to and since I DVR'd it he watched it twice!

Have to get blood work done tomorrow morning-can't have anything to eat or drink except water-now normally I wouldn't be eating at this time of the night...but because I CANT have anything, I'M STARVING HERE!

Will catch up with my friend tomorrow that just came off the 7 day western DCL trip-want to find out the entertainment and ????? Anyone have any questions you want me to ask her??

Tomorrow when someone asks "When do you leave on your cruise?" I can reply "Next week!!"

Alex is here with me. And I told him this is all the people we're going on the "Minnie Mouse Boat" with. He said "look there's the Minnie Mouse boat at the top"

He also just pointed out all of the spider webs up on the ceiling.

Jackson is still sick and I'm contemplating staying home in the morning and taking him to the doctor. Which will not make my boss very happy!

Oh! The QOD....

I'd like to go back to the time of Lewis and Clark and see the country as they saw it.

Who I'd like to have dinner with... really struggled and can't really settle on a famous person. So I'm gonna say...I'd like to meet my Grandma as a young woman. That would be kinda cool! (She's my hero.)
