I always let my girls sip on drink while landing...do they have drinks on the planes now? I know I can nolonger take it with me...but if I took there cups could I get drink once on the plane?

Yes, they give you drinks. But they do not always give you pillows and blankets anymore. I am bringin a real small blanket (baby size) for Jackson in case I need to use it for a pillow for him. Also thought it might come in handy anyway, in case we want to sit out and watch a movie at night while he sleeps on my lap or something...

Jaime,
some planes give drinks, others sell drinks.
But once you go through security there are always places around your boarding gates that sell snacks, drinks and other foods that you can buy and bring on board.
we always get a little something just before boarding.

now we have a small battery operated DVD player with dual earphones.
That does help me some, I concentrate on the movie only and I am careful which shows I bring.
always comedies or shows with NO plane disasters!!
some airports rent these and if you get an animated film it may help entertain kids for those who have young kids on the plane.
I am the worst flyer!! so don't feel bad you guys are NOT alone.

Kathy-
You can't bring drinks onboard anymore since that incident last year.

We're bringing our portable dvd player. That should keep Alex happy.

yes you can, at least when we flew in September.
But you have to buy them by the boarding gates, after you go through security.
we had drinks, sandwiches, chips, and cans and 2 bottles of water and so did lots of other people

Must depend on where you're at because I've seen them telling people they couldn't take them onboard at the gate during boarding. Maybe they've relaxed that a little bit?

Does anyone who has cruised before know how the pin trading works on the ship compared to the parks? The girls usually get pins and I usually get pins that relate to that trip. Like the rides we go on, MVMCP, our resort...etc.

Are there lanyards on the ship the same ones that they have in the parks? And they usually have a large year badge to hang on the lanyard; do they have anything like that which is specific to the cruise?

Hey, if anyone's a Trading Spaces fan (or like me, used to be until they screwed it up), Paige Davis is back and they're going back to the format that made it popular, plus the original designers (Frank, Lauri, Hildi, Doug, and Edward). Maybe it'll be watchable again ...

Yes, you can take drinks on the plane. You just can't take them thru security. And no, that hasn't changed at all ... trust me ... I know my flying rules :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am packed!!!!! Had to go get another suitcoat today.....Kim said she is sick of the same photos.....LOL Yes dear.......

Kathy......I'm only bringing 5 pair of underwear......you dont mind me hanging them on the verandah to dry do ya??:rotfl2:

Hi,
ok in the store they do have lots of pins for sale and a few that are sold only on the ship!! Plus some limited edition pins that are cruise line only.

The lanyards are different, usually they just say Disney cruise line, although I think there are a couple of different ones in the kids areas.
as far as trading goes, check your navigator for place and time they will have a pin trading meet for those interested as well as a pin station to buy more pins. Plus afew of these are only for sale at the trading meet, not in the store on board.

She sells seashells on CC has a few pins that you can only buy on the island too.

So there will be plenty of chances to have fun with that too.

I have a list of pins, pirate pins to get for people this time.

Maybe so, all I know is 2 months ago we flew out of OIA in Orlando to Portland oregon and at least 1/3 of the people had drinks and food they were carrying onto the plane, us included.

we also got pop at our layover in denver and brought on the plane, no problem.
