Hey Jaime-Here's my opinion on the AKL for what it's worth:

This past May, I wanted to plan a special trip for just Jacob and I. He really wanted to stay at the AKL. I can tell you we paid almost $150 more a night than what was posted on that website I gave you. Anyhoo, I found out for $50 more a night we could stay on the Concierge Level. I really wanted to the Safari, so that's the room I booked. We had a Savannah View room. I read lots of reviews before we went and most said they view was great but it really wan't necessary because there are so many places to see the animals around the hotel..............(to be continued)

Good Morning All:

I wanted to update you as of the house situation. The wall and floor are fixed. I found out that I can pay to have my bedroom & bathroom painted. Yippee, that will be done this week. The flooring guys will finish the early part of next week just in time for the tile and carpet people to come on the 19 & 22. So the night of the 22, I should be sleeping in my own room. Yah Toast.

For those who are keeping track that is 55 days of sleeping in the dinning room. I think it set a record or something, gosh I need a cruise.

I think I need some of that rum, does that mean that we will all be stopping there next year?

Hi everybody-thanks for all the warm wishes,prayers, and pixie dust. I woke up on Monday with a tingling face-kinda like I had just had novacaine-and tingling in my right hand and forearm. Also lost my peripheral vision in my right eye. Doctor made me go to the ER-I went kicking and screaming of course as any good nurse would do CT scan of my head and MRI/MRA of my head were all normal-saw a neurologist that said it could be a 'migraine syndrome'-what ever the heck that is . But before we know for sure, I have to see an opthomologist tomorrow-could also be a detatched retina or an optic nerve clot or something (gosh I hope she doesn't stick a needle or something in my eye ).....OK, OK...most of my friends and Rick think it is mostly from STESS...yes...I'm under a little bit of it right now with mom and dad sick.......the best cure I had today was....The Travel Channel's Disney Cruise video .....ah.....hot tub and a frozen kalua and cream...with a cherry on top The numbness in my face and hand/arm is gone-my vision is still missing though...very annoying


On a brighter note....I have a wedding picture of Rick and I and my dress looks almost identical to Melanie's ....can't wait to show you...did you have a hoop under your dress?? I did...and was a bad bride too...made all my bridesmaids wear hoops too......they LOVED me

Really? We had the same dress? Cool! I DID have a hoop under it, but didn't make the bridesmaids wear one, maybe later I'll put up a picture with the bridesmaids in it.
