Yum.........me too!!! I love omelette bars, waffles (especially blueberry) and homemade doughnuts. My favorite breakfast at WDW is the banana stuffed french toast at the Poly and only have to wait 'til next Sunday.

So, last night I was rambling but I did want to tell you about another drink we tried for those of you who like to try new things. I don't like beer. Period.
Not ale, light beer, lime beer. None of it. A few years ago we went to a Tappas bar and they had hard cider on the menu. It was delicious. It was made by Aces. I have tried Woodchuck and it isn't the same. We can't find Aces anywhere. If you guys can get it where you live, let me know I'll come for visit

Anyhoo..........yesterday we asked if they had any hard cider. He said they carried a brand call Strongbow. We tried it and it was great. Not as heavy on the apple flavor as Aces but very light, crisp and refreshing. So, we went to Farm Fresh tonight and lo and behold they actually carry it. I don't know if this will be a good thing in the long run, but it's sure making me smile right now

Speaking of breakfast, there's a little road-side restaurant in the poconos. You go up to the counter and tell them what you want. You sit down at a table and they'll bring you your food. I LOVE to eat pancakes with real syrup looking over the snowy hills and the cabins.

It's almost as good as DCL. (Is that blasphemy?)

I've never been to the Poconos, but have always wanted to. Maybe next year. When is a really good time for that kind of vacation?

Depends on what you like to do. If you're an asthetic kind of person, fall is perfect (just think of a mountain of colour). on the other side, if you're a sporty kind of person, winter is good, especially for snowboarding.
We have three timeshares in the Shawnee Resorts. They have an axe competition each fall.

OK, who's the medical personnel here? Okie? I can't remember. Anyhoo, if you're out there and reading this ... I got stung by a bee yesterday. Pretty sure I got the stinger out. My arm is still red and swollen, in a patch about the site of a golf ball roughly, plus it's very hot in that area. Is this a bad thing?

Mornin everyone....I guess I missed the big 6000 party....drat(congrats on 6k Josh). We went to Woos sisters house for a picnic. Ribs and chicken flowed freely and a good time was had by all. We may or may not go to the Cleveland air show today...its still......up in the air Oke dokie...I bet that woke everyone up. So, what does everyone have goin for today, lets hear the big plans...

Time to go have some cheerios, coffee and do 3 pushups. Its a rough life. I'll check in later.

Cheri - Just noticed that both you and I are approaching 1,000 posts. Not sure what that says about us...but I'm up for calling it a great accomplishment!

It has to be that because I know I don't have too much time on my hands!!

Bill just told me yesterday that if I'm going to spend so much time on the boards, maybe this year I'll find out more about where we're going and things we should be doing! (I think he's referring to the fact that I didn't know much about the location of all 12 St. Maarten casinos. . . )

Cheri-I forgot to tell you congrats on your race. We had the big Rock and Roll Marathon here today. You and Bill and your families should put that on your calendar for next year. I won't run with you, but I'll have the drinks cool when you're finished.

Thanks!! Do they also have a half-marathon? Not sure that I'm up to a full marathon, but if/when I do one, it'll be somewhere cool. One that offers lots of free drinks sure sounds enticing! Whaddya think Bill, ready to go from 3.1 to 13.1 miles??????

Last night we went to my sister's for dinner (as the Mutt said), and I had my fantasy football draft at 7:30 and had to focus all my concentration on that (which, if any of you called me during that time, is why I couldn't answer the phone Yeah, that's the ticket). Once ... just once ... I'd like to get a top pick position! Well at least this year I got 8th pick overall instead of last like last year. Guess that means I'm coming up. But having the 8th pick meant no Ladanian Tomlinson or Peyton Manning . I can feel yet another FF season going down the drain ...

Wow, I miss one day and have just spent the last 1/2 catching up.

I am so jealous of everyone that gets to open their windows and but on the heat. Yeah, it's still 110 here...I am so over summer. It should be cooling down to 98 by next week I know I live in the desert but this summer has been one of the worst.

Judy I think you should split the difference, leave your DD home with the family that is giving you a hard time about being away from them on Thanksgiving and you come with us...this way everyone wins

So I just ran over to a retailer to look around, saw a dress that would be nice for formal night (I'm not feeling the full-length gown this year), tried it on, looked ok, but I didn't have the right undergarments on. So I ran home, got the good uplifting/crimping/cinching stuff on and went back. Tried the dress on. Looks PERFECT.

We had better get posting everybody.

Saw my mom today-she asked when can she go home and the doctor told her it would be weeks possible months before she gets home--skilled nursing home vs. rehab first. I think this is the best thing...my poor step father just can't handle her anymore.

Started the South Beach Diet today....anyone have any luck with this one before??? Maaaaaannn I miss my bread already

Hi, everyone!!! We've been having Internet connectivity issues and I'm just getting to posting today.

Woo, I'm feeling the good deal fairy, too. Judy and I took Rachel and Sarah shopping today. Judy found some really nice cruise dresses and a fabulous pantsuit. She's set.

Sarah struck out...and since Rachel got a super dress yesterday, we trucked to the mall. JACKPOT...she got an incredible princess style (think Cinderella dress, but mint green) with matching earrings, a nice black dress, a pair of dressy shoes, a pair for me, and a work skirt for me...should have cost $285, but we paid $90. Saturday, I found a black cocktail dress and a killer pair of dressy shoes at huge savings. We are getting very excited!

Haven't tried South Beach, but Judy wants to start Atkins. I have a terrible time giving up carbs...who doesn't? I'm not the biggest fruit eater, but after a day on Atkins, I'm dying for an orange...crazy!
