I didn't attend any fitness classes on DCL, but it was only a 3 day. We did do a couples massage class on RCCL that was kind of fun. And I worked out in the fitness room once.

I'm hoping to maybe get some sort of exercise is even if it's pushing Jackson in his stroller around Deck 4. That's my plan for getting him to sleep so we can go out a couple nights. We'll see if it actually works...

That's what worked for us. Emily fell asleep at least one night and we just dropped her at Flounders. They even let us take her stroller in and she just slept there while we went out for a abit. Lizzie, of course, was in the Lab..where she ALWAYS was! :lmao:

While I have a sec,....I get my pic o' the day in.....gonna add it to the "non-relevant, WHYYYYYY would he take a pic of that stupid thing" collection.

All that talk of diets yesterday made me crave my Tonga Toast all the more.............I told you guys I'm goint to WDW tomorrow didn't I:rolleyes1

YES! You have just given me hope.

:goodvibes Hi everyone...I'm Jaime...wow...there are alot of post on this thread!:goodvibes As soon as I get a chance I'm gonna read all your post...there this some great info here.:goodvibes

This is our first time cruising on DCL and we are so excited!:cool1: :cool1: We actually were booked on 4 day Wonder Cruise in a cat 6 room on Nov 25 for a long while now however my dh came across a "magical rate" this weekend for a cat 12 GTY on the Magic. Since it was only $150 more for the 7day cruise we decided to switch...I know the room will not be as nice but we love the thought of having 3 extra days on the ship! We have 2 dd's age 3 & 5 and are travelling with my bf, her dh and their two boys ages 4 & 6. We were given the late dining rotation and were told our rooms will be assigned sometime before we cruise.

I am a bit:lmao: of a overplanner and am a little concern that our window for ressies opens in a few days and I know nothing about the cruise...and since my dd starts school for the first time on Thursday it's not a great time for me to figure everything out.

Have a great day!

Hi Jaime!
Welcome!

Guess what! I was originally booked on the same 4 Night as you and did the same thing! We are booked category 12 and got late dining too. I have 2 DS's who will be 4 1/2 yo and a 18 month old!

There is a list you can get on if you'd like to let everyone know who you are. We are doing a meet on the first day of the cruise. And we even have t-shirts! Shell is in charge of that and can fill you in on all the details!

As far as your ressies go, if you are considering going to Palo you will want to reserve that right away. You can do brunch and/or dinner. There is a $10 pp charge, but everyone says it is worth it! I booked ours on one of the sea days and I'd recommend trying to do that if you can get in.

Others here can give you advice on other stuff too!
Glad you're here!
Melanie

Welcome aboard, Jaime and family....glad to have you with us.
Have a monkey.....

Thanks...how do I get on this list? Did you get your room assigned yet? When do they assign them?

Does anyone have any info about the romance package? We can't make ressie at Palo's until Sept 10th...thinking about getting the package so we can make them now...has anyone ever done it? Was it worth the money? TIA

A bit of a planner???? Boy, Jaime, have you found the right place! :lmao:

:welcome: :mickeyjum :mickeyjum :mickeyjum WELCOME TO OUR SHIP OF FOOLS! You will find the nanas a hilarious group of quick witted Disney maniacs. Oh, yeah, we all have shirts, too! Many of us have never met, but feel like we know each other from posts. I've only been on boards a month, and I can't go long without seeing who's doing what.

And don't be alarmed when Kathy returns from vacation with her whip.:rolleyes1 I'm just saying... Chell (Woogal) will contact you about who all of us are and give you a chance to get on our family cruiselist. That will help you sort all of us out when we post. Wait until you see pics of Alex! Your kids will have ready made fun!

You will find DCL beyond your expectations. The kids programs are phenomenol and the service is impeccable. Don't even get me started on the free room service (pack lots of tip money). We held a daylong discussion of room service Mickey bars last time it came up! Good times!!!

I'm taking too much time here, so I'll let you go and ask others to jump in.

FYI: My best friend is Judy (Mickeyworld) and my DD, 14 years old, is ThinkTink. Again, WELCOME ABOARD!

:welcome: JAIME AND FAMILY!

Welcome to our merry band of Nana Heads! We're a little weird at first, but eventually you'll become one of us!

I just sent you a PM with information on the Cruisemate List and some other little details. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yeah, keep rubbing it in :p OMG...my DH loves Tonga Toast. I told him I didn't think we'd have enough time to get to the Poly this trip..he was none to happy about that. Maybe I'll surprise him and go Friday morning:rolleyes1.

Cheri - Restaurant is doing OK. We are almost making enough money to pay the bills:scared:

Judy - glad to here your coming with us. Now book the tickets so no one can change their minds:snooty:.

So needless to say I haven't tried any of your wonderfull drinks and proably never will. Of course I love you guys just hate bananas.

what night is Formal night? What is the "theme" the night we are leaving St. Thomas?

Jaime-
I wouldn't expect a room assignment until we are down to a month or less. I got it about 2-3 weeks before we cruise the last time I booked this way. Last time I was upgraded to a category 9! Some people think you have a better chance when it is your first disney cruise so maybe you will get upgraded. I just checked mine and we have no stateroom # assigned yet.

One thing- if you have 4 people in your stateroom you will at least get a category 11 because category 12 rooms do not fit more than 3 people. Good luck!:tinker:pixiedust:

Christine-
It's ok. Confession is good for the soul. But... don't like bananas? That's the ONLY fruit I can get Alex to eat!

Welcome Jaime and family :dance3: :dance3:
I booked the Romance Package for this cruise. It's the second time I've booked it. I think it is 100% worth it. We were able to book our Palo reservations at the beginning of Aug so I don't know if you added it now you would be able to get the times you wanted but it's worth a try. I really liked getting a full breakfast for room service and the romantic turn down is amazing to come back to. I posted some picture of the turn down service on this board. I will PM them to you.

According to past eastern navigators formal night should be Sunday night.

It says St. Thomas night is Cruise Casual, Master Chef menu, with Gary Delena for entertainment. (I figure we'll be pretty tired this night what with pirate night the night before and spending all day at the beach.)

Will be interesting to see the new navigators once someone gets one posted.

Thanks! Hope it holds true as we booked Palo for St. Thomas night instead of one of the at sea nights.... :-)

:sad2: Therapy, therapy, therapy....................

Bill-Thanks for the fruit salad. Now that I've had my healthy meal for the day, howz 'bout some of the cheesecake?
