I confess. We have gone on 2 cruises now and we have neither attended the disembarkment presentation nor watched it on tv. And we always seem to make it off the ship a-ok.

To those who plan to join us in East Lansing for the bananahead meeting in mid-September. We are now definitely in. I bought our tickets for the football game today and we are booked at the Marriott that is apparently just a block off campus. I have emailed Jan of JanDave to try to put together a tentative plan of a pre-game breakfast and a post-game party to celebrate Pitt's win over MSU Game time at this point is set for 12 noon but may change but we'll put together a plan based on the noon game start and then figure out if we need to make a change.

I LOVE IT! I am teased constantly here at home because I plan WAYYY ahead and have my "t's" crossed and my "i's" dotted. It is SOOOO great to meet some people that do the same!

I've read earlier Navigator's also and kindda penciled in the following and I'm sure you guys will help me know what not to miss! The nighttime stuff for adults I was kindda gonna follow your guy's lead if I can stay awake!

you cant miss that. That is where we get aquainted until time for the safety drill, OOPS I see dis meet on your post, oh well it was a good reminder for everyone anyway. I am tired tonight somy eyes dont work so good.

Then on St. Thomas day after the Pirate party is the adult Karoake!! You gotta come there because a lot of nana heads go there that night.
Who knows what you may hear?? You may want to bring some ear plugs.

What is Art of Entertaining?

Seems popular.

I don't think DH would let me plan things out quite that much. He likes to "fly by the seat of our pants"... that often gets us into trouble! But, far be it from me to suggest it!

Art of Entertaining is the how to make appetizers, desserts, entrees, etc series. I am really looking forward to is since I didn't have a chance to do it last cruise.

Although I have planned and planned some more I am actually very flexible so if we go off course of miss something (except Martini Tasting) I will be Ok. I just like being overly prepared and familiar with everyone since my husband relies on my to know everything about the trip .

Hello everyone, Okie still in Florida, she called, she and her friends are at Universal studio having a blast !!

Got an email from her this morning and she said that there was a chance of rain every day they are there.

Hope everyone is happy and heathy !

Sounds like the Raddison will be crowded before the cruise, Bananas everywhere . . . in the

pool, in the hallways and laying around the pool. It will smell like BANANA BREAD EVERYWHERE !

What is Art of Entertaining?

Seems popular.

I don't think DH would let me plan things out quite that much. He likes to "fly by the seat of our pants"... that often gets us into trouble! But, far be it from me to suggest it!

Art of Entertaining is great!! Usually held in Studio Sea for several days. It is a cooking demonstration for part of it. One day thye may demonstrate how to cook an appetizer and you will be given some to try as well as the receipe and you can ask questions of the Chef. Next day may be a dessert.
Sometimes they will give you ideas on plate settings for parties and fancy napkin folding for special occassions. It is really fun and it is always something different each day. And when it's food there is always samples!!
One time they did cake decorating and they carved 3 different cakes for us to have after they decorated them, plus they made mixed drinks and gave away some, then one type everyone got a sample, just cant remember the names of them.

It is well worth going to. You can go to one or all of them, your choice.

Again let me say I love this group and we haven't meet yet!
This week is my "get the material for the fish extender" week. I hope to make my final payment this weekend , too...

My itinerary so far for the Mixon/Meiers group...

Wed-Friday we are staying in a house in Wyndam Palms. 5 miles from Disney in a house with 4bedrooms and our own pool.
Sat.
Head to port and be there ASAP. Sail Away party and sneaking in to decorate the rooms for our families, early dinner (hopefully at Parrot Cay) early to bed. Order room service-(Every morning at 7am) for coffee and crossaint on the verandah...ah!

Sun.
Art of Entertaining formal dinner and at sea activites to be determined

Mon-
Palo Brunch trip to rainforest in the spa

Tuesday
St. Maarten- shop and catch a cab to Kon Tiki on Orient Beach back fro Pirate Night Ken is taking the 12 meter regatta excursion, again!

St. Thomas and possibly St. Johns...not sure yet

Thursday
Martini Tasting and Palo

Friday
All Possible on Castaway Cay!!!

Saturday-
depression and driving home.

Somewhere want to fit in Karaoke and Spa visits.
