Jeff, get packin'!!! It just hit me a few days ago that we're leaving Friday for our trip to Asheville, NC. I'm going to TRY to get most of our packing done today so I don't have to fret about it during the week. (Ask me about it on Thursday night when I'm running around in a panic!)

Hey Lampy? You ever been to Tropical Isle in NOrleans...I need expert opinions on whether I got a recipe right or not.

Cheri....ty for your support....that whip stings and when theres a mutt and a tail involved...it hurts my pride as well.

Judy...that passporter is such a lifeline for us....they also have a neat little download of helpful hints on their website. It was like $6 bucks but well worth it. I may still have the thing somewhere. I'll look it up for ya.
(btw...try Sonny Liston if you like bumpy rides on Monday, ah-ohh ohh ohh Tuesday, ah-ohh ohh ohh---anyone thats been on one of his tours will understand that reference...)

Good morning all! We've been out and about, busy like crazy, just stopped home for lunch and to do a load of laundry and dishes. Then back out running around and yardwork. It's a BEAUTIFUL day! 66 degrees so far, with a high of 76 expected. Tyler's begging to swim today, but I doubt that will happen! Well, I supposed it won't hurt to try. I'll hang out on the picnic table and watch! Trying to make the most of today because it's supposed to rain Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs with thunderstorms thrown in most of those days.

It's actually a bit chilly today and I'm LOVING it!

s'ok, Holly....EVERYONE gets excused today on account of the weather. I'll deal with Kathys whip if she gives me any guff about it.

Like Josh, we weeded the garden today and I finally got a blade for the edger and cleaned up the yard a bit. It helped flush that last lil bit of booze outta my system and made me human once again (don't say a word wife, I KNOW what your thinking).

We're still working on the airfares... Not sure what we'll do. I do know we want to be in Florida (maybe the cape) the day before the cruise. I'd like to be the lunatic that's up at 4:30am video taping the Magic as it comes into port to pick us all up for our cruise.

Anyways...have a great evening and just remember that tommorow you all better give a post or two.....mind my monkeys!

Not much to report here. The frenzy of our upcoming trip continues. The kids are starting to get nuts with excitement. Thank goodness we have daycare/school and day camp on Monday and Tuesday to mitigate craziness a tad.

After I finally got moving today, I went out for an hour+ run. It sure was nice not having to deal with the high heat & humidity we had last week.

I also did some laundry and have most of DD's stuff packed. Now to take care of my stuff. . .DH is on his own!!!

We returned from our camping trip this weekend in one piece. But we're pretty tired. Camping is hard work with a 4 year old and 13 month old!

We are taking a week long camping trip at the end of the month to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. I will make it through thinking of our cruise!

Glad you had a good time camping.... where do they set up the midnight dessert buffet at? It has to be hard keeping the bugs out of the cheesecake...
