HI ALL!!!

Kathy, my mom told me you've been asking for a reappearance by me and my father. So Hi! I see we have new followers. For those of you who do not know who I am, I'm Josh-NOT Joel , I've been on the boards for... ah well, you can see.

I go on this very cruise every same week of the year. Can't really wait and you might see me become more anxious throughout the year as we inch closer to the leave date. Yay!

So Kathy... Are you keeping your whip handy?

Okie and Jeff, I was also really afraid to look at those SW flights because I already booked with Air Tran, but the rates were just a bit higher than what I got and the times were way off, so I really got the better deal. Headed out of Philly, which I hate but the only flights available for me closer to home go to Sanford and I need to be at MCO.
Anyway, happy we all got good deals.
Have a great weekend everyone, looks like it may be quiet without Kathy.

Did Kathy really put me in charge of you guys? (oh my, what a trusting soul she is). I don't have that fear factor that she weilds but I do hope some of you will take pity on me and post a little to keep me out of the *ahem* ---doghouse. Its gonna be awesome weather in ohio this weekend and we're heading to my sisters for a picnic so that should be fun. My brother is coming in from Jersey for the occasion. Other than that, not too much going on.

Wendy, Shell tried some of my home-made hand grenade. Mixed reviews. She wasn't sure what the original tasted like but she did enjoy what I made. I have to get the recipe to Mike for a professional analysis.

Btw...this cruise must be getting closer. I seem to be grabbing the passporter more and more. My screen savers and wallpaper at work are filled with pics of St. Johns and the Magic and friday, before I left work I heard those tell-tale words--- "OK,....enough about your d*mn cruise! we get it...your going on the mouses boat!" Geez, what grouches....

Michigan is having the same beautiful weather as Ohio. It has been nice to shut the air off for a while and open the windows in my house for fresh air. I did TWO HOURS of yard work yesterday after work, school, and dinner & drinks. I haven't had much time for my yard, so I had TONS of weeds to pull and plants to trim, weedwhacking, etc. Still have to do the back yard, which is a pain because of moving stuff and/or mowing around things (tiny pool, 2 picnic tables, sandbox, playset, etc.) but even though it's looking like a jungle back there, I suppose that will wait until tomorrow morning. Didn't get up early enough to do it today before I need to head out of town. Taking Tyler to one of his cousins' birthday party about an hour & 15 minutes away, then over to my brother's to swim after the party. Probably won't get home until bedtime. Busy day, but fun!

I hope you all have a great day as well! Be sure to rub in to everybody you know about how this cruise is coming up quickly! I'll sure be bragging to everybody today!

Happy Saturday to all. The panic of an impending trip is starting to descend on our house. Good panic that is. Kids are jumping out of their skin. Mina and I trying to figure out how to finish up all of our respective work before leaving and then trying to figure out how much STUFF we can fit into our suitcases and not have to do laundry at all while being away for 2 weeks.

It will be here soon enough and then I'll be back and posting about how quick it went so I'm trying my best to just enjoy the anticipation too. I've re-read every book I've ever had on maui and even bought new editions of some of them. We've put together an itinerary for the trip so that we don't find ourselves at the end of the trip and realize that we spent 2 full weeks at the pool. Hey don't laugh..it's happened before. We looked at one of our old videos of a Maui trip from when Elizabeth was a baby. We're ready except for that pesky packing part.

We do live in fear of the 8 hour flight between Dallas and Maui so I think I'll need pixie dust early and often for that adventure! Emily has never been on a flight that long b4 and she's not what I would call the "best" traveler like her sister.

Today I'm off to run 100 errands while the girls are off doing their own thing. By the end of the day we hope to have things at least organized in our own minds.

Oh and I'm celebrating my b'day with the US of A on Wed. too. To the family that posted about being old parents..you have NOTHING on me. But I'm very young at heart.

It's been in the 50s at nights and high 70s during the day here. Perfect because you don't get hot & sweaty! Supposed to be in the 80s Tues & Wed, but thunderstorms both days! Not looking good for my plans of taking Tyler to the hot air balloon festival & fireworks Tues night. But oh well....we'll come up with something else and of course, the weather report is likely to change before then. They're usually only accurate a day out, definitely not 3 days out!

August 24th or roundabouts....yep,...since you're a castaway clubber...you can book 90 days out...shore excursions, spa stuff, palos... you only have about 7 weeks...yeah SEVEN WEEKS! to plan it out so get after it, buddy...
