Congrats on the puppy Kathy...you are a great person for saving Sweet Pea.

Sorry I have been AWOL...lot's of drama last week. The person who was evicted from our new place trashed it. He cause about $25,000 worth of damage so we have been working with the landlord to see what they are going to do for us. Hopfully we will still be able to open by the end of June.


My favorite part: Seeing the ship as we drive over the bridge
Worst part: opening the balcony curtains and seeing we have arrived back at Port Canaveral

Now I need another doggie album, plus i will add some photos of them both to Minnies album. Right now they are keeping me very busy, so I have a couple of weeks before I can think about a working on a new book.

I have my camera on the end table beside me, but they both move so fast it is hard to get a good photo. I took about 30 tries to get the 3 I managed to get.
They are both taking another nap so I can relax a bit.
I hope Greg knows it's lunch meat sandwiches for dinner. I will be too pooped to cook tonight.

Morning everyone,
well been up listening to crying for last 2 nights. Hope it only lasts about a week like it's suppose to.
poor Minnie, she doesnt understand why puppies cry when they first leave their home. so she has been up all night the past 2 nights too and is very tired. She is snoring right next to me why Sweet Pea is sleeping on my feet.

I am trying not to move and wake them up but I will need to visit the little puppies room soon!!

Just noticed we were heading toward page two and we can't let that happen. Congrats on the addition to the family Kathy!

Slower week this week for me (thank goodness). Wrapping up work on the Chihuly project and involved in a couple of new business presentations/opportunities that if they all come through I'm going to be sweating it again. As they say, a good problem to have.

We are now close to single digits for our Disney trip over memorial day weekend so we are starting to get excited. We bought annual passes again so it looks like we are going to have to figure out a way to get back there this summer or else we won't get "our money's worth." Actually with the DVC discount on annual passes, they pay for themselves after just seven days of visits. This trip we will use 4 days...so I'm sure that in the next 11 months, we will get there at least one more time.

But first we have the big dance recital this weekend: Elizabeth's sixth and Emily's first. It should be very fun. The girls are quite excited of course. I will have to post some pics of them after the show on Sunday. Before that, we have dance rehearsal tonight (Elizabeth's regular 3 hour class), swim team practice for Lizzie on Thursday night. Dance recital practice for both girls on Friday from 4 to 7. A softball game for Elizabeth on Saturday morning. "WHEW" No wonder I'm always so worn out.

I will be looking forward to seeing the girls pictures. That is so exciting for them, epecially for Emily since it is her first.

Boy what a busy day today chasing after these two mischief makers.

I had to be extra alert and fast today since puppy had the runs!! Only one accident inside so that was a great average for the day. She hd shots a few days back plus being in a new place is more than likely the cause.

Both dogs have doctor appointments next monday. Minnie is ready for booster shots already.

Our smokey smell has returned this afternoon. hope the wind blows it away!!

Bill we are upper 80's too.
I think Shell needs a puppy worse than Holly does

Bill - That cake baking could be the clincher on the adoption papers! Hey I learned a long time ago to work to live not live to work and while saving for a rainy day may work for some people, I'm more of a live for the day kind of guy. I was lucky enough to marry someone who was willing to come around to my way of thinking too. We have gone six months with out a vacation so we're getting very itchy..thus the two quick upcoming trips. We usually try to do something every quarter but with Elizabeth in second grade now, it gets harder to take her out of school for long periods more than once a year.

Oh and when swim team really gets going (which is after school is out) Elizabeth will have practice every weekday morning beginning at 7:15 a.m. I am NOT a morning person, but she is so excited about being on the team, I'm going to become a morning person and get a workout in myself while she's practicing so it will be good for all of us!

Oh and Kathy - you should have seen Lizzie last year. She was called up on stage just b4 intermission to get her five year trophy. She had been talking about it for 3 years. Now she's talking about her 10 year trophy which she will get at the ripe old age of 12 1/2.
