Good morning all,
Okie, glad to hear your camping trip went well.
Our son Peter saw POC3 but Greg and I havnt. Hr loved it!!!
We have to stay in to potty train the new pup, so no movies for us for another couple of weeks. We want to see Spiderman, Shrek and POC. So will be going often once we start going to see them again.
Our local theater has 12 tiny theaters and usually has a cheap 10:30 a.m. showing of new releases on the weekends, which is when we like to go. Many times we are the only people in there for popular movies. Plus it only costs $4 each.
Even though they are small theaters they are very comfortable with great screens and sound systems.
I took the dogs out so puppy could go around 5:30 this morning and they were very frisky and playing quite hard on the patio and Minnie's head hit my knee full force and hyper extended my left knee. It hurt from my hip to my toes. I couldnt even walk into the house for about 5 minutes.
Luckily Greg heard me and came out to help me.
Minnie knew soemthing was wrong and styed by me with her ears down and tail between her legs. Pixie of course just wanted to keep playing.
It took about an hour to get Minnie to perk up again. I dont think it hurt her head at all, because she kept playing until she looked at me and heard me then she stopped playing and ran to me immediately. I'm glad she has a hard head for her sake, not mine.
well this is going to be a long week around here. I feel badly for Greg as his boss is on vacation so he has the unpleasant job of laying off several men on thursday. People know it is coming they just dont know who or what day.
He knows all these people and works with them so that makes it extra hard.
If building doesnt pick up soon, Greg may be getting laid off by the end of summer

or maybe offered a position if he relocates to Kentucky, Ohio or Tennessee. We would gladly relocate instead of no job.
This is typical of his work though, it goes in cycles and we are prepared for it, but if it goes bad at the end of summer there may be NO cruise for us, so please keep your fingers crossed for us. Lots of pixie dust!!
To many unknown factors at this time to predict what is going to happen. We are about 90% sure he wont get laid off this week, since he is doing the lay offs in his division and he didnt see his own name there. However someone higher up could lay him off.
Greg did see this coming months ago , so we are prepared, no worries for us but will have to cut back on recreation.
well enough bad stuff for now, life's too short to get wrinkles worrying over something we have no control over, I will let you know at the end of summer how it goes. But for now we are still planning on coming along on this cruise!!!
Well off to fill the dishwasher and then put my leg up for awhile, no walk for Minnie today
Have a great day everyone,
Kathy
