Its a combination of a schoolboy crush and third day at sea-sea sick. Where you meet your dream girl face to face for the first time and yak on her shoes accidentally. Oogy...I really oughta patent the term on Wikipedia.

(oh, brother....I got ripped for admitting I wasn't a "regular" at WDW....I can't wait for the backlash from this post)

the wife is going on a business trip tommorow for a few days so you'd better get your comments in quick---that does NOT mean you, Kim.

It's ok Mutt.

I've only been to WDW twice. And the 2nd time I only went to MGM.

I've been to Disneyland twice too.

It's not that I don't like it, it's just... so many vacations to chose from... so little time...

I wouldn't dream of it:love:

Josh...I think House said it best to Dr. Chase (who is Australian)...."The queens on your money, you're BRITISH!" You get credit, Josh. Btw...you gonna be watching the sky tonight?

For any of you who expressed concern over Guido....the tests all came back great. I swear that a gallon of drain cleaner would give him a mild case of the trots and THATS IT. Anyways....he's gonna be around for awhile---my lil boy...

Ty, Kim....'preciate the sympathy.

Hello, everyone! Judy and the DD's and I spent the afternoon at the beach and it was lovely.:cool2:

NANAHEAD DRINK: I like the nanahead Godiva chocolate idea...keep those drink recipes coming!:thumbsup2 Whatever we decide, let's agree that we MUST have some DCL "pillow" chocolates on the side, just for good measure. I know that some of us may not like the taste of bananas, so that drink will be the "honorary nana.":rotfl:

LOVE the CC and porthole pics...boy, do they take us back. DH and I are sitting here enjoying the view. :goodvibes That's, of course, until Sarah and Rachel start yelling at each other while playing Halo. Two cute girls until you give them weapons. :hippie: :wizard: Where's that machine gun nana when I need it? :scared1:

Need more pictures...pirate:

TTFN!:tigger:

Isn't nice to have a friend who takes your crazy child off your hands for a while??? Thanks to Robin and Ken- Rachel treats them like parents only better....
Got updated pages from Passporter today, had an original version from early 2002- will spend the evening highlighting and penciling in notes- ah that and a cosmo- what could be better???

I'm thinking of booking beach/city tour excursions for us on one or both of St. Thomas & St. Maarten with our little ones. Do you think it's necessary to do the DCL excursions or could we just do our own thing? (Remember we're traveling with real little ones so I want to keep things as simple as possible.)

I think the easiest way to do this is through Disney. It takes away all the stress about worrying about where to get taxi's, how much it will cost, if your leaving in enough time to get back to the ship. If your on a Disney excursion and the vehicle breaks down or you get caught in traffic they will wait for you.

If you go on your own and the taxi breaks down or your late due to traffic or an accident they will NOT wait for you. Just one less thing to think about.

Depending on what beach you want, St. Maartin has a nice small beach area by the pier at the shopping area too. That is easy to do on your own. It is small but nice sandy beach, chairs and umbrellas for rent, cheap!! Drinks and restrooms available, food too. Just take the water taxi at the end of the pier, on the left. costs $5 for all day round trips to the shopping area.
when you get off the water taxi walk a few feet until you meet up with the sidwalk that runs along the beach. You can go right or left just 25 feet to a nice beach area and someone will approach you about chairs and such.

shopping is right behind you if one of you wants to zip out for a quick shopping event.

also the ride is only 5 or 6 minutes, so it is easy to go back to the ship for lunch and then back to the beach if you want. You have a great view of the ship from the beach. It is NOT crowded there either so nice for little kids to toddle around without getting run over by people . It is just a thought unless you have a specicific beach in mind. Theyhave several that are beautiful, this isnt spectacualr but it is nice, close and EASY to do with kids. Cheap too.

Our grandkids loved it!!!

Got our shirts today:woohoo: Took a pic, but the sun was too bright:cool2: I'll try again tomorrow..............My mom and dad didn't want to wear the shirts so I didn't order any for them. Now guess what?:sad2:

Off tomorrow so I'm going to go to the ABC store and stock up on exterimental liquor for our Nanahead drink. Even gotta name picked out in honor of Mutt. Not a bad way to spend the day. :cool1:

Are the beaches crowded in Wilmington this time of year? I wouldn't dare go to the oceanfront in VA Beach this time of year. Too many tourists......:rolleyes1

Don't ya' just hate tourists Kathy?:rotfl:

Bill, great news about Guido:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Tourists, UGH!!!
They come all summer and every holiday and make it so crowded locals dont stand a chance to have some fun.:sad2:

But many would starve without them, we need their money so we can go on a cruise to be tourists somewhere to make someone else miserable for a few days:rotfl2:

Shell, have a good trip.

Kathy

:woohoo:Woohoo for Guido! Give him a hug and kiss for me!

Just took the boys over to spend the night with their friend that's moving. So Alexis and I have the house to ourselves this evening. I spent most of the day grocery shopping and organizing for leaving Wednesday evening. My daughter is coming for tomorrow to carry the big stuff outside for me.

Will check in later.

Just sitting here reading and avoiding packing! We have BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT weather in Ohio this week ... upper 70s, lower 80s, blue skies, low humidity ... so what better time to go to San Antonio where it will be in the upper 80s and 90s
Groaner.gif

Kim, I like the way you think. I'm going to try something with 99 bananas and Godiva cappacino ...mmmmmm ... coffee & chocolate flavored bananas ...

Guido says THANKS for all the well wishes. Oh, and I'm changing his middle name from MacArthur to TheDogThatLivedForever. :lmao:

OK, I really need to go and pack some clothes that won't stick to me in the Texas heat. :headache:

MOM I AM NOT!!!! ...but it's true I do treat Robin like my mom Ken like a dad[kinda] and Sarah like a sister...but not better...:confused3

It's funn on the ship cuz all sarah and i do is hang out with other kids we meet on the ship and all last cruise we would come in at like 3 am every night party: <- thats what we do....SOO MUCH FUNN!!!!..Well night everyone im going to bed soon...

Have a good night everyone.

Shell, have a good trip. Wink at a couple of cowboys for me hear? We'll take good care of Bill while you're gone...............

....and just how do you think you're gonna take care of me???? I may go out galavanting every night! My best friend is a WILDMAN...and my neighbor Dan....lets hope no one writes a book about our exploits. Or I'll take Guido for a walk, eat an early dinner, work out and watch a movie---which ever plan strikes muh fancy! Take care of me indeed. I'm ready to paint the town beige!!!!!!! (I told you, Kim....you're going to be sooooo surprised)

Are you sure Guido isn't a cat (9 lives?) Maybe we could get rid of our dumb cat instead. I love him but he drives me crazy. (We also have a hypocondriac sp? dog... but that's a whole 'nother story)

I can't believe it's that nice in Ohio!!! That sucks because it's hotter than you-know-what here!
