Cheri-I'll have your glass ready:thumbsup2

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I was also thinking about your question regarding the DCL buses leaving from WDW. I believe they start picking up a bit later than those leaving MCO.

CON: You won't be the first ones at the port.:sad2:
PRO: You get to watch a video about the cruise to get you even more primed for vacation.:happytv:
CON: They don't stop off at the liquor store to buy a last-minute stash of hooch.:sad1: (They don't even serve the Drink of the Day!! )
PRO: When you arrive, the lines should be pretty short.:hourglass

It was the timing of the buses that encouraged us to stay at the Hyatt on Friday. (And since vacation-pro Jeff :cool2: is doing the same, I know it's a good choice!:thumbsup2 )

Kathy, love the picture!!;) Where's a picture of Minnie??:confused3

Bill, thanks for that post -- it came out great! Maybe we can have them add Nana Head meet in promenade Lounge on this year's Navigator!!

OK all you space junkies, is there a shuttle launch scheduled for late November?? I see the Space Coast Marathon is 11/25/07 and it says "shuttle launch blastoff on jumbotron."

Cheri

Good am all:yay:

Since it looks like alot of you are on the boards today I'll post questions that I still don't have answers for.

1.DS(6) needs a passport this year or can wait till 08?
2. Anyone send a box to the ship ahead of time?
3. DS not excited about snorkeling, a bit scared fish will bite. Spend the $ and see if he will try or just do a beach?
4. How do they select the drink of the day?

Please post the navigators from last year. I've also begun looking at them to see what to plan to do:banana: 3 months to go....

I'll try questions 1, 3 and 4....someone else will have to field the box to the ship one.
1. Get the kid a passport---he's gonna need it.
3. Heck, I'm scared of biting fish (jellyfish suck too). Do the shore thing.
4. Dunno, as I post these Navigators...see if you can find a pattern. I think its just the booze they have the most of that day, personally!

Guido came back none the worse for wear...waiting for test results on the kidneys--I still think his kidneys are fine and dandy. I only have to get up and take him out three times during the night so its not so bad yet.

Kathy....I may come and kidnap that pup of yours. Da** that thing is cute. Greg is the one with the shorter ears, right?? (sorry, dear...had to take at least ONE pot shot at ya for the monkey pic--we only hurt the ones we love...you know that!).

Cheri

It's not a shuttle launch for the STS missions. The next one is October 23. The next one after that is December 6th. :guilty:
It could be a shuttle launch, just not for STS missions (I believe.)

Photo of the day.....one of MY favorites.....Our 05 Turkeyday sailing....both ships seen together for the first time since 2000.....Myself and Kim

Good afternoon fellow Nanas

Bill Robin and I are sitting here feeling old... get a magnifier to read the navigator!!!
1. Still breathless about Capt. Nautica,,,, News????
2. Kathy- Robin and I went shopping this morning- just a slight round of the stomach flu so we fit in to clothes???? Send a round our way-

How many people plan to visit Palo, which night??? We would probably shatter the "ATMOSPHERE" but fun times would be had by all! We are looking at Pirate Night but early so we are not sleepy during the fireworks.... Ah chocolate souffle in the tummy...pirate:

1. As I understand it, you don't HAVE to have passports this year. Because of the backlog, they will be mandatory in '08. From what everyone else on here is saying, I don't think you'll get it in time for this trip, so you may just need to bring his birth certificate. However, I'd still call DCL or your TA just to verify. I've been known to be wrong (HUH?:confused3 ).

2. Nope, never done it. But I swear I remember someone last year that did it. Let me check with some of the '06ers and get back to you.

3. I'd suggest to not do a pricier snorkle excursion, but rather rent the snorkle gear at Castaway as it's only $15 or $25. That way, if he doesn't like it, you haven't shelled out a bunch of money, but if he does like it, you'll know for next time, and he have use of it all day.

4. Alcohol fairies :rotfl2:

It is almost starting to sink in.....Walmart had waterprrok disposables on sale....got my 10!!!!

In the pic that Ron posted above, Bill and I and my family are on the Wonder out there (that was our first cruise ever!). The ships were blasting their horns back and forth and it was SO cool! We circled ALL DAY (that was our "Sea Day"). I remember telling Bill, "It must be so cool to be over on the beach and see US!". And now we know!

Also, thanks everyone for wishes for my baby, Guido. We're waiting for some blood work to be done and should have results on Monday. But the best news of the day ... and who woulda thunk it? ... they actually have pills for incontinence in dogs! :woohoo: That's such a huge part of the problem! And while I was at the vet, I made his reservations to stay there while we're with you crazy nuts!

I actually have a video from our camera of the horns sounding off, let me see if I can figure out the link.....

Bill,
No hard feelings with the ear comment.
Just to prove it, here is another photo I have from last year.

Bill and Shell with their afternoon snacks in hand on the Magic

Is that a banana in my hand or am I just happy to see you?

(P.S. This is war, lady ...

Oh dear...

Kathy...I believe you finally made that fatal error in judgement. I'm the tame one. Woo can be downright nasty when irked (I have the scars to prove it).
Trade the whip in for a howitzer----you'll need it.

oh my, oh my....

I do appologise to Shell, but she is the only one you were with on the ship when I had my camera.;)
But Bill, this is payback from the original picture, remember i said I would get even:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yes Shell that is just a banana.
Love the fighting nana though:goodvibes
