I had my ultrasound this morning. The news: It's a boy!!! Due on Friday the 13th :scared1: (of March) . I haven't done the date calculation to see if I'm cruising legally or not, since I have my signed paper, I'm choosing to remain ignorant.

We're unsure about rebooking on board. The older two want to try Royal Caribbean. They don't have a Flounder's though, and kids have to be 1yo before you can do in-room babysitting. So that puts us sometime after mid-March of 2010, after all the holidays and spring break. That means pulling two high schoolers out of school for a week. They always have short weeks in November and February, and a week in March. They only get Good Friday for Easter. I refuse to go on a cruise in summer. I don't want to leave really hot weather for more really hot weather. It's much better to go when the weather is yucky here.

Congrats!!! Our first son was born on Friday the 13th (1984). Not a big deal after I got past the first nurse who ask me if I really wanted to have my child born on Friday the 13th!:rotfl:

You buy the first couple of rounds, and I'll close the deal.

You're on! Bring your lawyer friends too. I'll take all the help I can get!

STACIE Congrats!!! Wow, 3 boys!! :dance3: :dance3: Our DD was born on 3/15 - the Ides of March. Both of our kids were due on 3/17, St. Patricks Day. Neither made it to the due date which disappointed the olde Irish O'Hickey family. Keep your dates a secret - no one need know. Shhhhh.

Congratulations Stacie!

Congratulations! Ignorance is bliss, but I think you're fine on the timing. I went in mid-November almost 3 years ago while I was pregnant. My DD was due at the end of April (though born in the middle of March) and I was far away from the cut off. My math may not be exact, but we can go with it. :rolleyes1

Congratulations to you and your family. Best of Luck!!!:cheer2:

Congratulations Stacie and Family! Many blessings and an extra measure of pixie dust!

Congratulations, Stacie!:grouphug: I'm so excited for you! It won't be long and we'll be dining together on the Magic. I sure hope Andy still likes me.:lmao:

Good Morning!
The DIS countdown clock has the 22nd as 58 days away!!!:woohoo:
It won't be long now. I'm so excited I don't know how I maintained through the past year, counting down every day!
Does any one know any details about the "What Will You Celebrate" tour? It's coming to Pgh on Oct 6 and I can't find any advertising here about location, time, etc. All I have seen is what's on Deb's, Disney website, etc. I guess I'll just have to keep looking.

I'm a dork and counted down the days on a calendar. It's 59 days, if Saturday, November 22nd is zero.

I give up!!! All I know is we're past the 60 day mark and I'm ready to pack!
WDW web site is now posting the locations for the tours. No times yet! If it's during the day, I have already informed my boss I am leaving. He said he will go with me if he doesn't have meetings scheduled. I want a Mickey balloon!!:mickeyjum :earsboy: :mickeyjum

Where are you seeing this info? I'm sure they won't have anything close to me since I'm already in FL.

I just got on the DIS to see what I've missed today and noticed that in the trip reports thread someone is posting from the Magic right now. They just got on and are really disappointed. I keep telling myself I've always loved the Magic and the Wonder and not to worry--but you've got to check out the picture of the goofy pool. It's green!:scared1: And I'm not talking painted green---the water is green! I hope they have things up to par when we sail. I'm really not that picky as long as things are clean. This same person posted pictures of his stateroom and although some things look worn, that doesn't really bother me much as long as they're clean. Let me know what you all think.

I've been following it too. Here's the link http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1963576

This cruise really wasn't even supposed to happen because the Magic was originally still supposed to be in drydock. The people cruising today were warned that work was probably going to be ongoing during their cruise. That's why you should try to avoid the first couple cruises before and after DD.

The Goofy pool does look gross, as does the water in his toilet. I think I could overlook the scratches on the wood in the stateroom, but I would be a little disappointed. The tv didn't look quite as nice as I expected.

KristineN is also doing a live trip report from the Magic. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1961415

I also didn't think the tv was as nice as I had thought it would be but then I'm not much for tv anyway, so that doesn't bother me. Although the scratches in the furniture are a little disappointing, I agree that they wouldn't bother me too much. I also wondered if he had gone to the bathroom and then took the picture.:confused3 :lmao: I mean, it looked like there was pee or something in the toilet. But, one flush and that should be gone.:rotfl: However, the pool is unacceptable. I would be very, very upset if the pool looked like that on my cruise.

Okay--deep breath--it will be beautiful again by November, right?;) Also, I don't know what in the world happened to my ticker?????

Flush the toilet, flush the pool, wipe everything down with some Lysol and let me on board!!! I'm sure all of the kinks will be worked out by the time we sail. This is Disney after all. And we won't notice a thing wrong after a few umbrella drinks!
That pool did look gross though, didn't it. I wonder what kind of algae it is.
