Judy- yep it's me.
Thanks for all of the welcomes. Didn't know there was a newbie drink rule. :drinking: Oh well.
I love Lora's quilt idea. I'm sure that Disney will make that happen. Believe me, I've seen my share of "Disney magic". I had a friend tell me once that you can bring a pillow case of piece of material on board with you and have the characters autograph it, then take it home and embroider the signatures.
On the sail away you'll find me on dolphin watch. My DH Mark saw them last trip (Wonder 2005) AND DIDN'T COME GET ME. (not that I have any issues with this. I have totally forgotten about the whole thing and never bring it up).;)

Linda

Just joshin' ya on the newbie buys drinks.

Where do you see the dolphins at? :listen:

Can I join the dolphin watch group? :) I didn't see them on our last two cruises. I did see a mother and a baby on our way back from that awful deep sea fishing trip this summer though. We also saw a sea turtle while we were out on the ocean. It was REALLY cool, but still didn't make up for how sick DS and I were.

PassPorter says, the best time to see them is right when we're leaving Port Canaveral. For optimum spotting, you want to look over the port or starboard side, toward the bow. They reccommend the big windows on deck 3 or outside on deck 4 for the best views. Deck 10 is also good.

My DH saw the dolphins at the bow on deck 10 on the left side as the ship was pulling away from the terminal. He said that it was really cool. I know Judy will be on dolphin duty too. Sandy- a mom and her baby would be too wonderful to see. It’s too bad you were sick at the time. Deck 4 is where I’ll be. It’s one of my favorite spots on the ship. Quiet and comfy. It’s a great place to have a mamosa and toast to a new day at sea , catch up with friends, or apparently look for dolphins.

Linda -
I do believe you should reconsider and dolphin swim with us! :fish: (I do know this is not a dolphin!)
I will be on Deck 10 forward with my binoculars watching for Flipper. Oh, and the drink of the day will be in one hand as well.
L - before I forget, I will be calling you from the road on Sat. My sister and I are meeting at Grove City outlets at 9am to shop!
Linda a nd I talk to each other every Sat (and sometimes Sun) at 8am to catch each other up on any new Disney info we have read. I look forward to our calls all week and even jot down notes so I don't forget anything. :donald:

Judy

You guys don't be fooled. You are not watching the dolphins . . . . they are watching you! Keep them busy, and we will keep some bar stools at Sessions warm for you when you are done!

We missed seeing the dolphins the last time out.:sad1: We will be on Deck 10. It takes us a while to get our sea legs so we like to hang out in the fresh air. Hope to see you guys there. :rotfl:

Ken - You're right. They're probably looking up at us and thinking "those damn fools...."

They are just trying to figure out how to get aboard and join in on the fun!:rotfl:

The list looks great. All is correct on my end. I would prefer a sea day so you can pick which one.:thumbsup2

We are doing the dolphin swim in Cozumel from 12-4 anyone else?:dance3:

I have no idea what kind of gifts you get for the FE though. Any ideas would be so helpful. What is the price range? Could it be a family gift?:confused3

Good Morning! It's Friday, finally!

Our Dolphin swim at Dolphinaris in Cozumel is from 10:15 to 2:15. If the swim itself is only an hour, what do you do for the other 3 hours? I still need time to shop. :rotfl2:
Have a good day everyone and I'll check back throughout the day.

77 Days!!!:yay:

Judy

Is anyone else doing the parasailing on the 1st CC day at 10:30 a.m.?

DH was going to parasail again but decided to do the eco-tour because he's dying to drive a jetski. He could care less about ecology and shorelines, etc. He just wants to drive fast and bounce around. My money's on him trying to get a spot parasailing on one of the days once he sees it again. He loves to parasail!
Me? I'll be snorkeling and laying on my raft both days. I'm bringing my own snorkel and mask. Does anyone know if you can just rent a vest or do you have to rent everything?

They will let you borrow a vest for free.

Finally Friday is right!! For a holiday week it was really long.

We have no plans this weekend, we were going to go camping but it's supposed to rain again tonight and Saturday night. At least the sun is shining today, probably why I feel 110% better than yesterday.

Judy--I think a lot of the time on the dolphin swim is to get everyone rounded up, then to the location, then you wait until everyone in the whole group is done, then all leave to go back to the ship together. I wonder if when you're done, you can leave and catch a taxi back into town (or walk not sure where it is) and do your shopping. That would be better than waiting on everyone else.

Aw, man - Jet skiing. I haven't done that in like for-ever!!!!!!!!! I need to find some kind of head covering that would stay on my head while jet skiing so I can do it. I have a medical condition and I can't have my scalp exposed to the sun for long periods of time (unless I want to be bald). I thought of a swim cap. Though I've worn silly things like my husbands hunting cap, cowboy hat or bandana - I don't think I can be seen in a swim cap.

Judy

77 Days . . . I remember getting excited around the 365 day bend. According to my sick math, that is 11 Mondays, 10 Fridays, and a partidge in a pear tree away . . .

I just had a dream last night that it was still 77 days away, but for some reason we were all in the car on the way to Port Canaveral to get on the ship. I started freaking out because I hadn't packed anything. :scared1:

I haven't applied for our passports yet and I get these mini panic attacks everytime I think about them. I need to get that done so I stop having nightmares.

We aren’t doing passports, although I sometimes worry about that. :scared:
Is anyone going to the Tulum ruins in Cozumel? DH is going and is really looking forward to it.
When looking at a map of Castaway Cay, I noticed an observation tower near Serenity Bay, Does anyone know if this is new or I just missed it before?
Dry Dock for the Magic tomorrow.:earsboy:
